I'll agree (about the hotdog) when it's more than just one test subject. There are plenty of tests that back this up. Not just this one.

I don’t base my life on what partisan hacks say. I take medical advice from medical experts. If I had covid and found myself hospitalized I would take Hydroxy expecting it to do nothing because it’s well known it does nothing for covid, but I wouldn’t care because it’s not dangerous so there’s nothing to lose.

I was just making a "mostly peaceful" joke, but I think COVID was a contributing factor in most COVID deaths.  Otherwise excess deaths don't make sense.  Let's just concentrate on saying that deaths from diabetes and High BP related deaths are going to go down in the next few years.

Just like with any disease, there are multiple treatments available.  He followed the treatment plan decided upon by his doctors who I'm gonna guess are some of the best doctors in the world.  I wasn't in the room (neither were you) to know what their reasoning was for deciding upon the specific treatment plan that was decided on for him.  Trump never said EVERYONE who gets Covid should take HCQ.  He said it should be an option.  A large percentage of doctors agree with him.   So I'm not sure what your point is with this post.

I will say that covid is finishing the job early on a lot of people. Most were well on their way to death. Covid just sped it up. Of the 300000 dead, over 99% of them were ticking timebombs.

I have talked to quite a few people that have had it. I ask them how bad it was. When they say "it sucked bad", I tell them they were not blood type o. They confirm it. When they say "symptoms were mild", I tell them they were blood type o and they confirm that as well.

The CDC says social distancing is the most important. Which makes 100% logical sense. You can't get a virus if you're not around people who have it.

Next is good hygiene. Washing your hands kills the virus and not touching your eyes, nose, and mouth limits the spread. 

Last is masks which the CDC says offers very little protection if any at all. I've also demonstrated through multiple studies posted here masks when used improperly can increase the chance of infection and spread.

No you didn’t.  You posted one link that said it “may” increase spread which was based on nothing in the actual research just speculation, and links to charts of cases saying that for countries who instituted mask mandates at the very beginning of the pandemic, the ensuing increases must’ve been because of masks.

I exported it about a week ago and don't feel like doing it again, but at that time through 11/28 (and with incomplete data for the last few weeks), deaths with covid with multiple causes were 260k, and deaths where covid was the underlying cause was 237k.

It's funny you mention this. One of the true crime/serial killer podcasts I listen to has mentioned that there are a LOT of similarities between politicians and serial killers in terms of psychopathy and sociopathy, lack of empathy, etc.

Sounds like your symptoms were about the same as mine. I had my taste/smell back in about 5 days. I wouldn’t have even known to get tested if my buddy, who is an ER doc, didn’t suggest it. Loss of sense of smell/taste was the primary symptom/indicator of COVID. This was back in mid-May.

It would seem a simple smell and taste test could be as effective as the real test.  Agree?  Maybe ask your ER Doc that question.  I’d be curious to hear his answer. I think schools could use it over the temperature check.

I just texted him.  He said it's only around 50%.  Some people lose it for a few hours.  Some lose it for a few weeks/months.

Seems to be 100% of the people I know who have had it.

I also asked him about the vaccine.  He said he got it yesterday.

ETA - I called him after he texted me that he got the vaccine yesterday.  I haven't been following much related to it.  He said that he'll have to get a second shot in 21 days.  It's supposed to be good for 9-12 months, but there's nothing definitive on that timeframe yet.  General population will likely be getting vaccines in March/April.  Vaccine isn't approved for kids yet and likely won't be until mid-summer.  That's just his guess.  I asked him when we can toss the masks...he said when we have herd immunity, which apparently is when 70% of the population is vaccinated.
