I asked what YOU would have them do.  Not what their options were.  All you do is whine, hedge, and act like a general idiot.  Take a stance.

If we assume that possible litigation is the impetus for everything done in corporate America, then 1 and 2 are the only real options.  3 opens up the door for intimidation and harassment.  Ultimately 2 is the only option.  "Required" being the operative word.  Mask optional.

Pretty much.   If I was them I would probably lean towards #1 for a couple more weeks, but would understand if they went to 2 instead.

That is why 2 is the only answer. No one should care. People should be able to wear them to feel comfortable.  It does have to stop at some point.

also there were only like 1 or 2 of those people that said something to the effect of "they didn't trust the CDC"

some weren't fully vaccinated yet, some had just come out of a store, some knew it was safe not to but not guaranteed, some were doing it because they were working, some just felt like it.

You don't think that this mindset extrapolates out to millions?

Its not that I care if people wear masks, it just makes me sad for them.  It's also sad that masks became such a pivotal tool of politics and virtue signaling.

The virtue signaling only comes from one side. Again with the attempt at the equalizer.

What's the opposite of virtue signaling?   Whatever that is is what one side was doing.     "Vice signaling" according to a quick search.

But virtue signaling wasn't the only word in that sentence.  Republicans (well Trump, really) were probably the first to make masks political.

Again, both sides did it.   Let's not pretend it was only one.

I don’t disagree about the political part, did I? Never mentioned it.  But the virtue signaling is a left thing. It is known

The narrative has been set.  If you're not wearing a mask, you're a heartless douche Trump person that wants to kill Grandma.

Right now, but they are trying to change it to, if you are wearing a mask you are an unvaccinated heartless douche Trump person that wants to kill Grandma.

That's half the people's narrative.  The other half is "if you're wearing a mask you're a scaredy cat"

Well that's actually true.  There are some real poosays out there scared of getting sick, even after getting vaccinated.  I remember when we were supposed to wear masks to protect others.

Went to one of our favorite local restaurants last night.  No mask requirement.  Was liberating.  It's like some people forgot what freedom is.  It may be a little thing but not having to pull up a mask to go take a piss is actually a really nice feeling.

  We can all agree the vaxxed masker is the epitome of insanity. These people feel like like they are on the sinking ship of covid hysteria and they are frantic that it's going down. There is a crazy parent at my wife's school who certainly has even had her dog vaxxed, and she turned in a teacher last week (vaxxed) for not wearing a mask outside for 30 seconds.  No one cared, including the principal.

Not wanting to get sick means someone is a "poosay"?

Hopefully if there's one thing people learn from covid, it's to actually think twice about leaving the house when they're sick.

If you got the vaccine, and you're young and healthy, and wear a mask outside, you're a poosay, or a fahgit, or a retard, or all three.

Yes.  Yes, masks were more to protect others, but they can't hurt for protecting the wearer either, especially if you're not wearing them for long periods of time.

So you think people should wear masks after being vaccinated?

I don't care what they do.   For myself, I probably won't (getting 2nd shot tomorrow).

Just got my 2nd. I’ll stop wearing a mask in indoor public places in 2 weeks. I’m glad it’s mostly over.

It was funny traveling through the airport this past week.  They had regular announcements that went something like:  we know that the CDC said you don’t need to wear masks, but we’re going to make you do it anyway.

Honestly I don’t know how people do that for hours on end every day, maybe your ears build up scar tissue or something?

Also I learned that in the Nashville airport, you can buy a bottle of Jack Daniels and just walk around drinking it.  Or at least it seemed like you could.  You certainly could do it with beer, and they sold liquor (not just in a duty free shop).

Go post some more articles about California that say the opposite of what you claim.

Besides, what about that particular post even made you say that?  That I said "probably" and not "definitely"?

I wore shoes outdoors nearly all the time during covid, except at the beach of course, and never presented symptoms.  So it's safe to assume the shoes worked, except at the beach where you obviously don't need them.   There may have been other effective articles of clothing as well. :dunno:
