Voltaire 4,572 Posted August 3, 2020 Dems can't replace him unless he steps down. He has more than enough delegates pledged to him to win on the first ballot. And why would he step down now? He's not so far gone mentally yet to not realize that he has a really good chance to win. They could have rallied around PetButt or Klobuchar or Warren or even Bernie (well not really but technically). This is who they picked because they think he can win. Hide in the basement in bubblewrap, issue edited statements and not be Trump, it's a particularly effective strategy with coronavirus lockdown around the country.
