He certainly has the potential to be the worst president in US history, but I think he's too weak, uninspiring, and ineffectual to pull anything major off. Coincidentally, James Buchanan led us into a Civil War with similar traits and we're more divided now than we have ever been since then, so, who knows. We'll see how foreign leaders behave too with this houseplant in office.

The data says the public cares quite a bit.  The average approval rating for a new president after 100 days is 66%.  Biden was at 52%.  He is underperforming by a whopping 14% already.  He's barely over 50%.  This is with him in his honeymoon phase, where people normally say "just give him a chance".  By this fall, he will be well under 50% approval.

My eyes are open. You could at least wait for the dumpster fire to start before blaming Biden* for the dumpster fire. There's no foreign crisis yet. And Russia is the aggressor here, not Biden*. If the US doesn't get foreign aid from Russia and China, the democrats are going to turn the US into a dictatorship.  That's an absolute critical component.  I don't care what you think of Russia and China.  We're gonna need them.  You don't have to like them.  We allied once with the Soviets to stop the Nazis.  It didn't mean we liked the Soviets.  We needed them.

I probably have the most nuanced view of the CCP of anybody here. I've lived in their country for 19+ years, I've never had a run in with them personally. I did witness, when I lived in Guiyang, a protest that blocked off a road leading to a branch school that I taught at, because the locals were pissed that they were wanting to reallocate a mountain that had been used as a cemetary for other purposes. But for me, it's always been smooth, the CCP members I meet are kind, they put their kids in our school, and if we ever do have a problem, we can call. But we never do need to as things are going well. Crime is minimal, taxes are very low, they keep the femininsts and LGBTQ, and SJWs out of schools and away from my kids and instead promote Confuscian famiy values and prioritize education. So I'm grateful in that regard.

First, the Chinese would be insane to invade or interfere directly any place with nucelar arms. All they have to do is sit back and wait; the US is poised to self-implode anyways. When the dust clears, they can just buy up everything left worth buying, like how they treat Africa.

But suppose they were to interfere in a US Civil War, worse, set foot in the US. Who knows what they would do. Help Red? Help Blue? Just take over? As for blue Amerika, fock blue Amerika. Who cares. Anything the Chinese, Russians, Islamic radicals, space invaders, zombies, demons or anyone else does there can only be an improvement. Red America is what matters, and were Chinese boots to land on American soil, whileI don't know what the Chinese would do, I do know what red America would do. It would not go well. They will not stand for having their freedoms and liberties curtailed and infringed by foreign invaders. Red America has guns and national pride and the Chinese don't belong there. For their part, the Chinese are liable to treat red America worse than Hong Kong and Xingjiang. It'd be ugly, you do not want that. 

I think it's a mistake to look at outside coutnries that don't have (what use to be) western values to save the US and the west from committing societal and cultural suicide. The cavalry isn't coming. Even if it were, any 'help' may or may not help the good guys, and even if it did help teh good guys, it'd come with strings. I think if blue Amerika can't come to it's senses, a national divorce is the best answer to salvage what's left from their cancer. You don't want to see foreign actors with their own values, like Russia or China, involved.

It's common knowledge that The Biden admin has been as bad as it could possibly be thru the first few months. Gas prices are crippling the poor and the jobs report was an absolute disaster. How long does the market keep going up as everything around it is an absolute shltshow? 

Unemployment rising, last month's jobs number revised drown by a large amount. Is this one of those deals where we stick our head in the sand and act like everything is ok or, do we start preparing? We know we aren't going to get a true view of how things are going in the economy.

Just watch how stunned CNBC was as the job numbers were released...
