New climate czar John Kerry said taking his family's private jet to a climate change conference in Iceland in 2019 was 'the only choice for somebody like me'

Recommended Posts

 For somebody like HIM.

Somebody like him who doesn't want to rowboat his way to Iceland. His work is important damnit. Your work? Walk there or stay home.

'If you offset your carbon - it's the only choice for somebody like me who is traveling the world to win this battle,' Kerry told Kolbeinsson, who had asked the former secretary of State if that was an 'environmental way to travel.'

The only problem with his excuse is that he could have flown commercial.  I get it that he can't jump on a boat for a week to get there, but nothing prevented him from flying commercial.  But what do you expect from a rich Lib?

I was thinking the same thing.   They'll use the same "save the planet" logic to tell everyone to take mass transit to work and then turn around and drive their own single occupancy vehicle in the "Lexus Lanes" to blow past the little people stuck in traffic.

(Lexus Lanes are what folks out here call the HOV lanes that also allow folks to pay a toll to use them. Works great for people that can afford to pay the toll to avoid traffic.)

And yes.

Kerry: My job is super important. Please see rules #1 and #2 of the democratic code. 1. Do as I say, not as I do. 2. See rule #1.

Kerry flies his jet, sticks us with the bill for it, plants a tree (and sticks us with the bill for that).  Everything seems in order.

Completely unrelated to the topic, but did you know Lexus is a Republican brand.

No wonder those Dems are so angry, their car is in the shop all the time.

To be honest alot of people buy crappy cars/brands. Out of that list the only car company worth anything is Lexus. I have no idea why anyone would buy an Audi, BMW, Volvo, Cadillac, Land Rover, or Lincoln.

Don't get me wrong, I drive a RAM and they are below Ford or Toyota for quality, but I saved a ton of money when shopping around. You cannot say that about someone who buys an Audi or a Land Rover.

Reminds me of when customers want a description of my company’s environmental / sustainable policies, then ask for 12 paper copies of a 300-page proposal via FedEx.

How do they feel about your office going to k-cups? That has to be worse for the environment than using filters.

Not only are things necessary for elites like him, us peasants really can't wrap our head around the magnitude of what they do.  So there's really no need to explain it to us.  Just sit back and let the really smart people handle business.

I'll keep hijacking, because I live in the land of hypocrites who buy a new car every 2 years, always 50K plus, and vote along the lines that would indicate planet saving.   Asians buy Toyota, Lexus, Mercedes, Honda, Acura and BMW.  Latinos buy Toyota, Hyundai and Chevy.  Upper middle class is GMC, and Lexus. Libs do buy Volvo and Volkswagon and Land Rover.

Here's the bizarre part of all this.

When Biden ordered that idiotic and disastrously incompetent "withdrawal" from Afghanistan, he left behind billions in assets, vehicles and high tech weapons. Including anti-aircraft missiles via MANPADS.

When Biden ordered Viktor Bout, the most notorious arms dealer in the entire world, to be traded for Brittney Griner because she couldn't be bothered to not bring illegal drugs into another country, he also facilitated the key person to move those weapons left behind into the world wide arms black market.

In effect, Joe Biden and the entire DNC just made Kerry a big fat target on that little stupid private jet.

Kerry is a legitimate HVT to terrorist organizations all over the world.  He's likely too arrogant to understand he's seen as disposable by his very own Party apparatus.

Team Blue policies and choices simply make America less safe overall.

We’ll see how many take the deal. I wouldn’t be in favor of them forcing a sale.

I believe the gist is these livestock farms produce more pollution (nitrogen in this case) than is worth for what they produce.

Who is determining the "worth" part of that?

Would you like to live on a river downstream from say a pig farm with no regulations?
