Favorite Fruit

Recommended Posts

Sux doesn’t count.

Favorite is Pineapple

However work provides breakfast and a berry medley is my daily fruit intake.

Hard to pick one but I’d probably go with raspberries.  We used to pick them near my grandma’s house so I have fond memories as well.

Mango

I thought about saying mango as my second favorite; it has a certain scarcity factor as well.  But then it occurred to me that I like most fruit and I’d just keep growing the list.

Yes OTB is open. Wear a mask.

Strawberry, though I’d be happy with anything that we can pull fresh off the trees in our backyard...apples, pears, cherries or plums.

Heading to siesta key next weekend and looking forward to all the Cuban cafes with the guava pastries. Swear that is my favorite breakfast: 2 of those and 2 Cuban coffees

Prolly raspberries.  Sam's Club used to carry Dole frozen rapsperries.  Put them in a bowl with milk.  Awesome.  For some reason where I live at least, frozen raspberries have been impossible to find.

Those giant seeds are a dealbreaker for raspberries.  You can sort of chomp down and flatten them a little, but after that, no amount of chewing does any good so you just give up and swallow.  <_<

Pineapple is probably my favorite if I had to narrow it to one.

Honeycrisp apples.  Bananas.  Those are the most convenient on the go and the ones I eat most of.

Mine is open however I also have NYRA app and place bets on my phone and has all types of wagering.
Twin Spires is another app and fits today’s race.

Put me down for pineapple.

Second choice would prolly be kiwi.

However, like has been said already, fresh fruit from the yard is best. We have limes, lemons, Valencia and blood oranges growing out back.

I'd take any of those over store bought anything any day.

Yeah, but we never held it against him. We just chalked it up to too many vodker shots.  :dunno:

Yeah, we’ve got tangelos and pink grapefruit in our yard, those are way better than store bought.  We put in three more trees a year or two ago and only one survived; I think it is a lemon but it might be a lime, hopefully we get fruit this year.  I always found it odd that citrus grows in the desert.

We may as well be in the desert. We're in the triple digits for much of the summer and its dry as a bone. Our trees don't seem to mind.

We do get some rain in the colder months though.

Frost is more of a threat to our citrus than the heat.
