Brian Flores suing NFL, NYG for racism - Doomsday

Former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores, who was one of three finalists for the New York Giants’ head-coaching job that ultimately went to Brian Daboll, proposed a class-action lawsuit that alleged the NFL “has a painful history of racism that continues through the present day,” according to a release from Wigdor LLP, co-counsel Elefterakis, Elefterakis & Panek, who represent Flores.

According to the complaint, the Giants had already made their decision to hire Daboll and disclosed such news to third parties before Flores even had his final interview with the team. Flores found out from New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.

The Rooney rule is lame, but its a bit of a stretch to sue the giants to racism because they decided they wanted Daboll.  How can he prove they wanted Daboll because he's white?  They interviewed several coaches after that text, black and white.  I'm no lawyer but this seems like a stretch here.

NYG first hired assistant GM from BUF to become their GM so everyone in the focking world expected him to bring in Daboll.  The only thing racist about the interview process w Flores is the Rooney Rule which FORCES a team to interview a minority regardless of who they already plan to hire.

I honestly think he has a case. You have to fake these interviews better.  Don't go around telling people you hired someone else while still interviewing other candidates.  Stupid imho.

He's also going after the Bronco's for his 2019 Rooney rule interview for their hc job.

And he's claiming the Dolphins owner, Stephen Ross, offered him a $100,000 for every loss he can get during 2019 season.

Prediction:  Dolphins and Giants lose drafts picks.  Bronco's get no punishment.

Saw some ppl saying how “brave” he is for doing this. “He’s giving up his livelihood for future generations because after this he won’t coach again”. You’re right he won’t. Nobody’s fault but his own. Imagine claiming racism is why you didn’t get a job yet there’s other black HCs. Next thing they’re going to do is make it a requirement that if a black person applies they’ll have to hire them
