The reason why they say 'at least' is these are the known perscriptions that were covered by insurance.   If someone lives in a state where these drugs are not covered by medicare or insurance or are properly reported they do not know.  So this is significantly under counted.  Children taking these drugs will not develop properly and will eventually lose their ability to reproduce.   They also found about 300 minors every year have gender affirming surgery which is a heinous procedure which completely destroys the child and puts them on a life long path of endless drugs and complications.  But no one informs them of these issues..

Sure, but still at least 10 percent are on purberty blockers according to insurance companies.   The exact numbers are hidden by these clinics because it would shock the average citizen.  I have little doubt you could easily double the numbers as many are not covered by insurance as many don't have coverage either because they do not have insurance or their particular insurance company does not cover it.

I’m pretty sure states decide individually what age a minor has to be in order to make independent medical decisions. That’s anywhere from 16-18 depending on the state. So I’m saying ban it for kids under that age.

Not exactly, the medical establishment in the field (trans activists) set vague guidelines which demand gender affirming care but leaves the age appropriateness open for doctor discretion.  Only a couple states such as Florida has set hard age limits.  What Calofornia does is establish a sanctuary zone where people can come from any state and get their treatment even without parental consent or notification.

That’s my point though. It’s vague now. Set a federal ban on blockers, hormones and surgeries until the minor is old enough to make independent medical decisions. Or pick an approximate age like 16 and ban it for anyone younger.
