Sue me I said Nintendo instead of Atari. :dunno:

Focking idiots want to make everything a problem even if you are wrong.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back is the sequel to the vector graphics Star Wars arcade video game released by Atari, Inc. in 1983. It was made available by Atari Games in 1985 as a conversion kit for the original game. As in Star Wars, the player takes on the role of Luke Skywalker in a set of battle sequences from a first-person perspective. The game features the Battle of Hoth and the subsequent escape of the Millennium Falcon through an asteroid field. It is the third Star Wars arcade title from Atari; the raster game Return of the Jedi came out the previous year.

You said "ON NINTENDO". Even if you said "On Atari" you would be wrong.

Double Dragon, co-op with buddies, y'all suck at this.

I never got into it, but Double Dragon was The game to play on Friday night at Godfather's pizza back when I was 12 - 14.  They also had table Ms. Pac Man and a trap shooting game on a big screen on the wall.

Ms. Pac Man, Frogger, and Centipede were my favorites.  My grandma worked the concessions at a roller skating rink and they had all of these games and more and skee ball.

A friend of mine in the 1990s had the full size arcade game Galaga at his house.

I had the full size one in the 80's plus Frogger. They weren't that expensive then, around $200 to $300 used.

I also liked a game called Krazy Klimber.   Youd scale this building while people tried to drop things on our head from open windows.   That was a fun one

Asteroids

Went to a community College, had a game room. There was a group of us that played Asteroids so often we all got to be expert level. Got to the point that someone would put a quarter in in the morning & we would play all day. They eventually took it out because it was only making a couple bucks a week😭

The ONLY title on this list that you could actually pay 50 cents and finish without adding money is Dragon's Lair.

Why do you people hate money?

Yep..Keep one rock, one that is moving as vertically as possible.  Take the ship and run it at high speed vertically...Hit the 1000 point ships....Hope he doesn't hit the last single rock or run into it..or kill you.

Me and best friend would go spend the night with his parents on their bowling night, just so we could go to the one arcade in the area that had that game.

Was a good era for video games, not every thing was a shooter, most of it was new and original.

I have to look them up because most of the games I played were in the 90s.  There were so many good ones.

Early-mid 90s was loaded with good games.

Def Galaga...........but Defender needs to at least be listed as well.

You can cheat it. When the first initial round starts Kill all the bottom red guys on the right. Takes about ten minutes. Just avoid them. The  rest of the game, they don’t shoot anymore.

 Frogger

Several times, I came home from a bar after hours of Frogger. I could see the little frogs hoping around in my field of vision.

I had all the top scores on a particular standup Zaxxon game at a bus station. Played while hanging out, waiting for fares with an upscale cab company. I drove a Lincoln.

Dang I forgot about this game and haven't played it since the early 80's at the arcade. That was a fun game and now I got to see if they make it for a rom or system.
