What they showed was definitely not the hit that killed the Pats fan. There's footage missing. 
That's besides the point. I went to an opening day game and sat 10 rows off the field. It didn't matter. There was trashy, drunk, obnoxious fans all over the stadium. This was a 1pm game too. Unless you're trying to drink more than you can handle, I can't justify going to an NFL game anymore.

Reading the media reports it seems like a single punch killed him. This is why you don’t get into fights because it only takes one crazy hit or bad fall and suddenly you’ve committed manslaughter or worse.

It says the guy had a "medical event", so it sounds to me like the guy had a heart attack caused by the agitation/adrenaline, whatever... from the fight.

I agree that there were several people trying to break it up.  It's not clear when the "medical event" happened though.  Witnesses say he was knocked unconscious from a punch, so the "medical event" could have happened after that and thus likely would have been caused by the punch.

Even the people filming it aren’t necessarily wrong to do so. It helps hold people accountable if there’s video of what happened, and in turn people will often behave better knowing that their actions will be on film

This. The last two regular season NFL games I went to I was a visiting fan, wearing road team colors. I was not drunk, talking trash, or being a d1ck. Just rooting for my team, which ended up losing both games. The way I got treated was pathetic. And this was in San Diego and Phoenix, FFS. Not exactly places known for having overly obnoxious fans. I might never go to another NFL game.
