If Biden stays safe and especially if he does something effective there, it would be a huge boon for him. What concerns me slightly is what's going on now, just as he's making his way over. I remember when everyone was flocking to Ukraine, but Biden stayed in Poland or something like that, and he was expressing his frustration that his handlers didn't want him going into war zone. I'm sure he's just trying to be one of the first to get his publicity this time. It's not like it's unsafe in Israel. Hamas is contained in Gaza.
