What’s the worst fast food chain?

Recommended Posts

Got to be Long John Silvers right? They based the entire model off the least popular McD’s menu item.

Taco Bell has got to be up there too.

I used to like Wendy's, but it seems they've gone way downhill since Dave Thomas died.

I've never been to one.  Is it actually a fast food place?

for me, it's a tie for their categories:

Mcdonald's

Taco Bell

subway

Interesting with the Taco Bell comments, as all three of my kids would probably list it as their favorite.  :D

I think that the spirit of the OP is the menu on paper, in which case Long John Silvers is a good one.  They might be more of an east coast chain though, as I can't think of any around here. :dunno:

I guess it depends on your preference.

Taco Bell is awful.

Papa Johns may not be fast food but is worse than 7-11 pizza

Subway is probably still decent. Or at least the way they've always been. But the prices increase they've done the last several years are unbelievable. I'll just go to a restaurant and get a much better quality grinder for the same price.

The appeal of subway was I could get a decent grinder, quickly, for ten bucks. Those days are long gone.

The bread at Subway has always been terrible.

Where I live. I think a steak and cheese grinder is like 17/18 bucks nowadays.

Here where I live the Market Basket (grocery store) their kitchen does subs. Large (huge) sub is $ 6 or 7 - Any subplace in town is $12+

I remember Market Basket from when I lived there as a kid. The one we went to most was also called DeMoula's.

They all suck pretty bad.

No way Is Taco Bell the worst though. Far better garbage food than McD’s, Burger King, Wendy’s etc.

Some still are, but the newer ones went straight Market Basket. The one in Danvers, where I went as a kid was Demoulas.

What amazes me the most, is how long people work there.

Haven't ate there in about 10 years, so things could've changed by now, but both the food & service at Wendy's were awful back then.

Surprised to hear this today.

Last time I ate at Red Lobster I was the only white person in the place and had a butt pee 30 minutes later.

The other problem with Long John Silvers is you can hardly control pricing at all in seafood. Certainly there is more farmed fish now but it’s still largely dictated by the wild caught market, which is all over the place but generally trending quite expensive.

I’m ok with subpar tacos. Only go there a few times a year but sometimes Taco Bell hits it just right for me

Growing up we’d get high and drive to Mc Donals for fries, Wendy’s for burgers, and Burger King’s for shakes. Then watch Aliens and enjoy. Today I wouldn’t go to either.

As many have said.  Long John’s is awful

A regional burger joint I hate around here is Rally’s.  The fries are the worst and the smell of the burgers turns my stomach.
