Fall of 2004, when a lot of election talk was spilling over there and Mike said for the 892714389th time, "take it to the Geek Bored!" So I thought, hmm, maybe I should check that out. HB Localboy 121 Posted March 12 My first year of Fantasy Football my brother was running the league. We had the draft on a Saturday afternoon but I could only stick around for the first three rounds. I told my brother that I had to leave and put my picks on AUTODRAFT. My brother was so p1ssed off that I left the draft that he took me off auto draft and picked a kicker for me every round. When I got home I had 9 kickers on my team!!!! I had to go to the waiver wire and get my team. The funny thing is that I WON the league that year. KARMA! I remember logging on Sep 11, 2001... there were lots of threads on the mange board: "US under attack!", "Thousands dying", etc.... then an occasional "if they still play this week, should I start McNair?" Came over from The Huddle about 8 months after you did and for the same reason. I was a regular on this forum (and along with Torrid Joe, one of the few liberals) until about 2007 when the anti-Muslim rhetoric and homophobic slurs became excesive IMO, so I immigrated (legally) to FBGs where I stayed until, I guess. about 3-4 years ago when the PSF ended, prompting me to return here. I came over over to help JetDoc set up an Interboard League team here and stayed. FFToday was much closer to what theHuddle had been than FBG ever was.
