Kareem Hunt - Not Good

Recommended Posts

ChIefs done. Not much more to say.

yea. Because 3.7 yards a carry and 3.7 yards per carry are super far off from each other.

It's all luck

I actually drafted Ware with my last pick. Figured he was one of the few cuffs with value in case something happened. Dropped him a few weeks ago.

Ware will produce but not to Hunts level. Should be great this week though

Someone will sign him next year and he will earn more than his current contract was paying.

I don't want to "like" this, but this statement is correct.

He will be free of a non-top draft pick salary. He may be out 6 games, maybe 10, maybe even a season, but he'll be back.

I really hope these rags like TMZ get the living fock sued out of them.

I don’t want to “like” his statement either and in a sense I agree since other reports having multiple access to this video would not release it due to legal action but tmz being tmz did their thing, but the actions that took place in this video are without question and he must pay for his actions from a human being actions standpoint. The kid effed up big time and now he’s gonna pay for it, but as the nfl goes he’s young and talented enough that some team in a year or so will give him the chance again and I’m sure he’ll do his due diligence in saying he was wrong, he’s learned from the mistake etc etc. and he’ll be back on some team. We’re good at forgiving people who admit their mistakes so that’s gonna be his best course of action and I’m sure he’ll say he’s an alcoholic just to throw in the poor me factor.

Sorry, if the police didn't arrest him, and the 19 yo angel who was drunk and hanging at 3am with a bunch of thugs didn't press charges, then the issue is over. Was he an idiot? Yup. Should he have been arrested then? Yup. Suspended prior to the season? Maybe. Sooo tired of this 'he said or did this to me 35 years ago!', and it's instant life over for the accused.

I am all about punishing someone for assaulting a woman. I also benefit greatly from this since I owned Ware in my dynasty and picked him up as soon as this broke in my redraft. Still, cutting him is not the right move if another team can just add him. Hill probably shouldn't be on that team then if that's the case.

I dont think someone should lose their livelihood over one poor decision. Punish him for sure, but he deserves a chance to prove that one night doesn't define him

Okay so since he's released there's nothing keeping another team signing him? Or does being in the Commissioner's list bar that?

Guarantee he's got plenty more issues in his past. Why else would a talent like him go to the university of Toledo?

Why would David Johnson go to the University of Northern Iowa. He must have a TON of issues in his past? Same for Tomlinson having gone to TCU. DeAngelo Williams at Memphis. Marshall Faulk at San Diego State.... etc...

Hunt was an idiot and got pissed at some slut throwing her weight around at 3 am in a hotel hallway and wouldn't stop getting in his face. For what reason wouldn't she just go home? I don't know. I don't care if the Chiefs cut him, as that is up to them. I'm not going to judge it. But that chick was just as guilty. And nobody wants to say that.

No sir.

Guilty? Yes.

As guilty? Heck no.

A man of honor never strikes a woman....regardless. Just walk away. I have been physically accosted by pyscho chicks on more than one occasion, and called every name in the book while it occurred. And although i am, admittedly, a flawed individual......and firmly believe that the Pound Me Too movement has gone WAY too far....I have never even been tempted to strike out at a woman.

I applaud you KC.

I think it’s a shocking move to see a player of Hunt caliber get released, but then again someone some team had to send a message that we won’t take it from you for acting like a fool and kicking a woman.

If he pushed her away and walked on, then find he took the high road, but to turn around a kick her when she is on the ground is just awful.

No matter what she said or what she did, no man hits a woman.

He will be back some time next season I’m sure.

I kind of agree but too bad they have a walking contradiction in Tyreek Hill on the team

So let's not hold girls accountable for their actions, even though they want more than anything else, gender equality. Good for you having so many women in your life calling you every name in the book and physically accosting you on a regular basis. I still disagree. I see woman as equals. And that is all I have to say because that is all they are preaching these days and I'll not take the time in my life to fight against it. I have other things to do.

Everyone knows women can act psycho and push it to the point of possibly getting hit by a man. Even when that happens a man has to have control over his anger these days and fight the urge to hit her or push her or kick her. I do believe a women has to be responsible as well not to act like a crazy savage. All people men and women push situations to the limit that may threaten the chance of being hit by another person. People these days act like being called a name or being disrespected in front of their peers require and excuse violent acts when in most if not every situation nothing good comes from that act. Self control is a skill that very few people have.

I can honestly say I have never hit a women. Crazy women are out there and unfortunately some are being abused. Trying to think of a situation when a women can just go too far. I will say if a women hit my child my 9 year old little girl in anger or violently to cause injury without a really good reason that women would be crossing my line and I would be going to jail. Violent acts against my kids will not happen. If they do expect violent acts towards you man or woman.

I saw the video last night. He makes first contact with her, pushing her. She then strikes him on the left side of his face, and he loses it. There are .. five or six people also in the hallway area, most trying to restrain him.

I think the thing that did him in was that he KICKED HER while she was out of the fight / on the floor.. Also: I read an article that I think Kareem hit some dude while out, this past summer. The video with him being violent is NOT a "one-time" thing.

And in all 100% hindsight, Hunt should've called the police after she hit him and had that 'lady of the night' thrown in jail. I heard (think it was on here) that she's caused problems there before at that hotel.

Normally I'm all for heavy punishment and firing when some dude goes postal on a anyone. Whether the victim is a girl or a guy. I can't stand it when anyone gets violent for stupid reasons. But there is just something about this circumstance that makes me feel like it's no big deal. It reminds me more of dumb college kids drinking too much and acting like idiots. Noone got hurt right? That girl was the aggressor and Hunt obliged. I wonder if he really would have beat the crap out of her if he wasn't being held back or if he was just acting tough. Oh, well.

Yeah, Im not feeling as this is immediately cut the guy material. Its bad, yes. Its sounding like what killed him is not telling KC what really happened. If the video comes out and KC is able see that it was consistent with his story from Feb, hes probably still at least on the team.

Difference of values and life-philosophies, I guess. Honor in America is drawing her last breath.

A man in 99% of situations is never "obliged" to push/strike/kick a female. Conversely, he is "obliged" to walk away.

The only exception would be if a man is being violently attacked by a woman of fighting strength/skill, with no means of escape. Even then, restraining her should be attempted before outright blows.

So would it be ok if a football player beats the crap out of a smaller weak man?

She isn't too smart, never ever fight a pro athlete even if it's a tennis player, they are a pro for a reason-bigger, stronger, faster than the normal person. I believe -and I'm not sticking up for him-that if it was all on him she'd have already sued him.

Women want equality. And they should have it. Get in someone's face and pay the consequences. She had every opportunity to walk away, get into the elevator and go home. Why didn't she choose this path?

In all reality she was probably there looking to hook up with a player ($$$$$$$$$$$$) to take care of her, and when she realized they wanted a good time just for one night she went berserk and then everything went crazy. I use to have season tix to Trailblazers and would see how those hussy's would hang around where the players were, looking for someone to pay their way.

Who made the rule that you can only fight back if it is a violent attack, the woman is some kind of skilled fighter who you failed at restraining, and have absolutely no escape from?

If it was a man that was small in stature, smaller than that woman in the video for example, it is OK to push/strike or kick them?

The idea of a woman as a delicate flower that a man must always protect is archaic. If a person (man or female) is attacking or threatening, I reserve the right to put them down. Just because it is a small man or a large woman does not change that right.

All of that said, I would not be kicking a person (man or woman) on the floor when I had an opportunity to be done with the situation. For that Hunt is a lowlife and should be held accountable for his actions.
