The news tells me to care about Ukraine because they were on the cusp of joining the EU and maybe NATO and are essentially a junior member of the western alliance. The news accurately assesses that and so presents it to me and other Americans that aren’t hellbent on sucking that particular autocrat’s dong. Myanmar, Sudan, etc. we should care about in a humanitarian sense but the US national interest is much, much less there. Doesn’t necessarily make it right but it does make it logical, which you supposed “free thinking” focktards are unable to understand, because that’s how much Trump has messed you up in the head

I fundamentally disagree with the politics of so many of you guys here but you seem like good people nonetheless (most of you anyhow- there are a couple of folks I kind of dislike, but that’s a pretty small number.) My life is weird in many ways. I don't have a lot to be thankful for, l have lost more than most could bear.....more than any good man should. I struggle to find meaning in it all. There are things that keep me going....things that I cling to that keep me sane. Those are the lifesavers. There are other things though. Little things. Things that put a smile on my face or make me laugh...intangible things that make the difference between a bad day & a good day This place, believe it or not, is one of those things. Whether I'm just reading or responding, there is a comfort that this place exists. As effed up as that sounds....getting your a$$ handed to you when you are down by a group of internet misfits or jumping on a douchenozzel just to feel good.....can get you over the hump. I don't know, maybe it's the anonymity in it all. Whatever it is, I'm glad it's there. I wish all of you a merry Christmas & happy holiday.....and fock off.....

I do think people should be able to voice their opinions, even these moronic and vile Palestinian supporters. Of course their intimidation tactics, which include supression of free speech, are problematic. Consider this, would we really appreciate the hate and poison being fed our kids at Universities if these repugnant fools were not out there showing us just how hateful and maligned they are? Is is not better to know they exist, where they are, how bad it is? Moreover, look at all the voices of reason rising to stand up to them. It is inspiring. SOme are reluctant, since these sub-humans are part of their political ally system, but they are doing it just the same!! Its great!
