There is still a big disconnect here. First off I now sadly believe that Biden is suffering from sone mental decline. This does not make him, IMO, incompetent to be President. He’s not as sharp as he was before, obviously, But I believe he’s still sharp enough. Second, I still strongly believe that you and other conservatives have been lied to by doctored videos of Biden. Both can be true at rhe same time. Your meme here claims you “knew”; that is false. You didn’t know anything and you still don’t. None of us know whether or not Biden has a bad night last night or whether he’s a doddering most of the time. We can only speculate about this. I believe that Biden has performed pretty well throughout his Presidency. Finally I see no evidence that the MSM has lied to me about this.

That’s not really so though. In the last month Inlistened to the Biden interview with Howard Stern as well as at least one long exchange he had with some supporters. Both times he spoke off the cuff without prepared remarks. Both times he appeared very lucid and sharp. I would note that in the second half of last nights debate he also appeared lucid and sharp at times. So I think you’re wrong, there is plenty of evidence that whatever his deficiencies are he currently is still on top of things enough to be President.

I'd still vote for Biden if he were dead. That orange baboon and his maniacal ramblings and geysers of lies wasn't any more presidential than Biden. Biden's performance last night was a disaster, but the focker got back on the horse and delivered some good stuff today. I'd rather him step aside and have a less-senile candidate on the ballot, but I'll still vote for him come November, considering what Clownzo will do to this country if he gets back in office. All he does is bluster, blame and deflect. He brings no actual ideas to the table and gets away with just saying the problems will be solved with him in office. Baloney. Yeah, you're going to end the war in Ukraine in a day. Bullsh!t.

2nd night in a row I’m up at 3am. Really sucks. But, you guys asked the question so I will try to answer. There is a big difference between Trump policies I don’t like and Trump policies that I believe will truly hurt all of us. The former is too long to count, so I will concentrate here on the latter. In no particular order. I believe: 1. Trump will cut off aid to Ukraine and negotiate a deal which allows Russia to permanently occupy most of Ukraine. We will agree to guarantee the rump state that remains, but this will be similar to the rump state of Czechoslovakia that England and France guaranteed after Munich in 1938, which was meaningless. Russia will become a territorial threat to all of Western Europe, almost guaranteeing a future war in which we may be forced to put troops on the ground, and which may also ultimately lead to a nuclear war. To make matters worse, I believe that Trump has every intention of pulling the USA out of NATO. Trump will also not lift a finger to defend Taiwan if China decides to invade, or South Korea from North Korea. This is what isolationism is all about. 2. Trump’s attempt to conduct a mass deportation of millions of undocumented immigrants will result in mass protests, rioting (most of these folks aren’t violent but some will become so), an infinite amount of legal challenges. The result will be a total failure- imagine the War Against Drugs multiplied 100 times over. But even the attempt will cost billions of dollars, create a terrible image for the United States, and drive food prices (and all prices) through the roof. 3. in terms of the our economic well being, Trump’s tariffs plan will be the most catastrophic thing he will attempt. However I don’t see him succeeding with this. I figure he’ll talk about it but in the end he will face too much opposition from market forces so I’m less concerned about it. However if it happens we are truly focked. 4. Biden’s actions on climate change, while some environmentalists believe are too limited, are a positive step forward in dealing with what is our most pressing problem. Trump is of the view that this problem does not exist. He is truly convinced that our long term economic woes can be solved by massive oil and coal drilling and reversing all of the environmental actions that Biden has taken. This will effectively destroy our last chance to avoid calamity and destruction in future years which are coming upon us much sooner than we think. There’s a whole lot more but these are my main concerns.

So long as you don’t live in a battleground state do whatever you please. But if you live in one of the states that will decide things I strongly urge you to reconsider. Even an incompetent Biden, led by his advisors, is vastly preferable to Donald Trump. It’s not even a close call. And in those states if you don’t for Biden you’re voting for Trump. There’s no way to avoid that choice and responsibility.

He clearly stated in the debate that the Supreme Court just recently approved the abortion pill and that he agreed and he won't block it. He also clearly states this is and should be a state issue. But when Dems want to know what Donald Trump thinks about things, they don't tune in to him, even though they just saw him a few hours earlier, they let Joy Reid explain it to them and they post ignorant things like this. Trump took the middle approach to abortion while pointing out how Diaperman supports abortion in the 9th month.

That's because a lot of geeks, just as many in our country, continue to live under the delusion that we have a true democracy. I saw some people mention voting for Gary Johnson... I mean, you went out of your way to crumple up your ballot and throw it in the trash. If it makes you feel good or special to say "oh no, I didn't vote for the dem or rep clowns!, I voted for Gary Johnson!"... then good on ya? Chances are your vote didn't matter anyway so do what makes you happy.

Biden lost the debate last night but Trump didn’t win. Trump didn’t mop any floors; he was simply dreadful. Just not quite as bad as Biden.

They had a healthy fear of Trump, they understood that he was unpredictable....but Biden is a known quantity, bought and held by global interests....hell, even the folks in the middle east point to this when I have hear them talk about it.

Not sure why you found this funny. Putin got him elected in 2016. He stood on stage with Putin and took his side over his own country and proven facts on whether or not Putin interfered. He said last night he talked to Putin after he invaded Ukraine. He has fought against supporting Ukraine. He expressed admiration for Putin. He told Putin that he should attack and NATO country that doesn't spend enough on defense. It's clear Putin and Russia are allies of him. Trump talks about nuclear war all the time and says he will strike first. You probably didn't know most of what I just said, and you'll probably say they're lies, but if you want receipts like you say you do, they are there.

I'm sure this is a waste of time since you'll dismiss all of it, but if you're being honest, here goes... no one knows what he WILL do. Likely or possible, yeah, he's told us. Economy: tariffs, tax cuts for wealthy, exploding debt... Foreign relations: Give Ukraine and other European countries to Putin, abandon NATO, partner with dictators he has professed love for. Threats of war with Iran, love of nuclear war and threats to be the first to launch. Project 2025: there is a whole thread on this, but getting rid of govt employees that voted Democrat and replacing with Trumpers, removal of women's rights, abortion, IVF, contraception, Christian nationalism... Revenge: he wants to use his power to jail anyone who disagrees with him. Illegals: round up and deport 11 million people. Corruption: history of bribes with foreign nationals. Lunacy: hes an unhinged malignant narcissist and we don't know truly what he might do. Just off the top of my head.

I agree with your premise that the concept of DEI has value, and that removing names from interview screens is a good, objective step in that direction. I disagree with the exponential additions of DEI-related positions to support graduates with DEI-related jobs. I think the NFL has a good idea to require interviews, but that is a very self-contained fish bowl. And it doesn't translate to the general application to all American businesses. We need to figure out a system to optimize the advancement of superior minority people into positions, without putting clearly insufficient people into those positions.

K Williams is really good. Corum is supposed to be good. The unknown touches split is the crux of the Kyrem draft pick and nobody knows where it'll end up. Given McVay's historical committee Rb systems and willingness to force feed the hot hand - even rookies (Puka), I understand the trepidation. Based on last year's sick metrics, I still like the 3rd round investment on Williams, but odds are he'll be gone by then. Somebody else will get (what I consider) a solid Rb who was 2nd in points per game last year. Currently RB 8.
