I worried that my eldest daughter (17) could be sucked into the leftoid cult because she is pro-choice (not for herself personally, for others though) and has a great affinity for your usual name brand elitist leftoid spewing universities, but fortunately she supports Donald Trump and has a great affinity for Tulsi Gabbard. Son (15) is conservtive and my wife is furthest right in the family. The youngest one is 11 this stuff isn't on the radar yet.

For first two years of Trump 45 the GOP had simple majority in Senate and 230ish seats in The House. We’ll see how this goes this time around.

This is what the left fails to realize, and this is a big one. There is no inequality today. Absolutely zero. They have nothing to run on. People with common sense who put in the time and energy to build their lives up don't want to throw a pity party for anyone, and they shouldn't. Teaching anyone that they are part of the repressed group or that life isn't fair enough to them will make that groups situation even worse. Thinking like a victim will create more victims. If we taught these groups to sit down and explore spirituality and the true nature of reality, it would actually strengthen them. Identity politics is poison to this country.

I am very concerned Trump will hire foreign agents to make false reports to the FBI so they can imprach hom under false pretense, like Hillary to Trump. I am afraid Trump will strong arm his oppents legal counsel to force them to breech attorney-client counsel, like the Biden administration did to Trump. I am afraid Trump will sick the FBI on opposition media and raid their homes to chill their speech, like what the Biden administration did to independant media sources. I am afraid Trump will try to get his opponents off the ballot like Democrats across the country, like the De.ocrats did to Trump. I am afraid the Trump administration which threaten to charge with Terrorism people who speak up against his policies, like Merrick Garland did to parents. I am afraid that Trump will have thousands of federal employees scour social media looking for anti-Trump posts on social media tonhave censored, like happened for years against millions of conservatives. The BLM protests were peaceful and it was after the protests ended for the day and the protesters had gone home that a criminal element (who were not involved in the protests) came out to loot and burn (that is what happened in L.A. as Tim Scochet will also attest).

Not an expert on all the parliamentary rules of the Senate but without 60 votes they can delay or refuse to bring votes. Maybe super nerds can walk through this process but my understanding is this is a big hurdle.
