No. It’s not equal. Biden deserves major criticism for his pardons. Trump deserves major criticism for some of his pardons. Every President does. But pardoning the Jan 6 rioters who committed violence (not the nonviolent ones), who attacked police- that’s unique. That’s beyond the pale, worse than any other Presidential Pardons in history. It’s unacceptable, there is no justifiable whataboutism, no reasonable excuse or explanation that can be offered.

I seem top remember way back to last week when commuted the sentences of what 37 Death Row inmates. I do not know the facts of all those commutations, but I am going to guess that since they were on Dath row they were violent offenders, and not violent in pushing or whacking cops with stanchions and flag poles, but you know, killing violent.
