See I actually agree with you on this one. And I’ll go one further: tax dollars shouldn’t fund art, period. Not this theater, not the NEA, not PBS, nothing. If we’re going to have an orderly society then I’m going to have to force you to pay for a lot of stuff you don’t like, and you’re going to have to force me to pay for a lot of stuff we don’t like. But not art. When it comes to art or entertainment we should get to choose what we like or don’t like and taxpayer funds shouldn’t be involved.

Never forget they wanted at best to strip you of your freedom at worst dead. They wanted your children taken away and reeducated. They wanted to block your access to hospitals and care. The part that is always omitted is assimilation. When people romanticize immigration, that story starts with a dream but also involves the immigrants assimilating to their new country, western culture. That doesn't mean they give up their religion, but they embrace what it is about that culture that made that land more desirable from the one they came from. What Europe is finding is that they have too many who don't want to embrace the western culture and it's detrimental to their long term stability. That's just reality and they have a finite amount of time to correct the issue.
