He's just not gonna get it. even when he'd get suspended, he'd whine and complain to Joe about it, making it worse. Squish reported people SO MUCH! Over emojis, ha ha posts, you name it. He must have driven the mods insane with his reporting. This is not a stretch, you see it here. He gets butthurt all the time, about silly little things. Only difference is there aren't a bunch of censorship mods floating around that will cow tow to his whining. And Tim's reaction tells you all you need to know about him. Like I said, he was really upset when his echo chamber at FBG started allowing conservatives to post and counter his self serving arguments. What frosted them is they would report tings, the mods didn't react as they wanted, with immediate censorship, and that made them even more mad. Tim and squish can continue to lie, we already know Tim does on the regular. But I was there, I saw it daily. The board closed due to the incessant reporting, mostly by the emotional liberals who didn't like that their little protected world was changing. That's my last post on this topic. Glad we have a forum here where free speech is respected, not censored.

Surgery is tomorrow, report time 5:30am, surgery 7:30 (west coast time). Good news is I'm the first surgery so I don't have to wait for some indeterminate delay. Bad news is I need to drive 45 minutes for that report time. My wife is wigging out more about this than I am. Probably because her uncle had this procedure -- albeit in his 70s and a heavy smoker all his life, whereas I'm in my 50s and never smoked, but... um, he died during it. I presume his lung wouldn't re-inflate? Anyway, I don't expect to die, but wish me luck anyway, especially about the nodule being benign. Also the not dying part.

It sure is. I wanted it to be “my place” and lost my mind when conservatives showed up? Where do they get this? Also, FTR: Joe never once warned me about anything. He never once advised me to post less. He never once wrote publicly or told me privately that I was harming the forum, and we did have several public and private conversations on a variety of subjects. He threatened to shut the forum down, and finally did shut it down, because he couldn’t stop the personal insults and mass reporting. And as I wrote before 90% of that came from conservatives and MAGA folks, some of them who have posted in this thread. Many of them wanted the subforum shut down and continued their insults and reporting knowing it would happen.

Please keep this idiocy out of my cancer thread. TIA.

Only one person "deliberately" shut the PSF down and that was JB. Tim, if you don`t think you were a big part of the problem there you are delusional as you were on their 24-7 bumping your own threads. And you know when JB said step away, he meant you as you were posting well over 100 times a day then. Boyo Daulton was also a big problem as he threatened JB after being banned a number of times.

I feel bad for 2 groups of people. 1. Retiree’s who didn’t shift their money to less aggressive funds. 2. People who were planning on retiring in the next year and now have to work 6-12 months longer (but they should be in less risky positions too) Everyone else is experiencing a blip.

I know one thing. I wouldn't be judging the move after three business days. I'd give it reasonable time to see if it meets it's objectives before assessing success or failure.

I had nothing to do with the Political forum being shut down. I wasn’t even around when it happened. It’s bullsh!t. I think it mostly happened because conservative posters reported everybody. It was pretty rare of me to report anyone; you had to be really offensive. But the Trumpers did it all the time. On purpose I think to get the whole thing shut down. There were a few libs too but it was 90% comservatives who were the problem.
