I have internet, cable and phone because it's cheaper than just internet. I only watch RedZone, sports, and maybe local news on cable. Phone isn't even plugged in. I also pay for 5-10 services, depending on time of year and what I want to watch.

I still have a phone/cable/internet service as well. I only pay for one cable box and use a smart tv and fire stick to login for access on my secondary televisions.

The most evergreen of comments. Read through the thread this morning. Yes there are problems with it all, but overall this story feels like it ended up less than what people were hoping for. I don't see either how people on the left or the right can declare this a win. Also, it seems like from the thread that Taibbi posted that the reason the pictures were taken down was the nudity involved- which would be against Twitter standards. Also, it seems like the requests from the Biden team came in October of 2020- which he would've still been a private citizen at that point and not an elected government official. So in reality this is an issue between two private parties. That's not a crime. It's shady, it's underhanded, but not a crime nor a free speech violation. And honestly- if you want to open that can of worms then you have to acknowledge that the Trump White House requested things be removed while in power. That's problematic. Again- I don't know the criminality of it, but it's shady. But I guess we got transparency of what some Twitter higher ups did....good I suppose. Now I guess we can just burn Twitter to the ground. That's be good too.

Crypto currency isn't beneficial. Bitcoin is. Literally everything else is inferior or a scam. Any chain that throws its benefits around never discloses the trade offs. There are always trade offs. Other currencies are so far behind bitcoin that there is no catching up. Block chain trilema. You can have 2 of the three on the base layer: decentralization, security, scalability. You cannot solve for all 3 on the base layer, but the more important of the three are security and decentralization. Bitcoin has fixed and is improving scalability with lightning network
