I remember playing in some geek only tournaments on pokerstars or something. Don't think I really started posting over here consistently until after Latin Pimp though. I remember all of these Sanc handles, but Walter32 is the only one I really remember having exchanges with. Swamp Dog and I were always on the losing end of various main bored arguments about our Lions vs. his Bears and Sho's Packers.

Mostly known from the Main board with around 25,000 posts from 2001 - 2006 time frame. I can't recall when I slowed down posting. Was part of the inaugural IBL teams for FFT for the first few years. Led the mian board to an ass kicking victory over the geek club in the epic FF battle back in the day. Particpated in many flame wars with Pats, eagles, packers and lions fans back in the day. The main board was a steel cage, no DQ, last man standing match back in 2001-2002. Spent 80% there and 20% here.

- FBG had a board meltdown and screwed up all their history. many of us went over and stole all the low member numbers when the board came back up. hey were pissed. We also for some reason used the BigTrain picture as avatars - I still see that around here as well.

- remember a thread about midgets in football and the strategy of a midget RB being tossed into the end zone. The defence would then send their own midget into the air as an anti aircraft assault midget. Laugh about that one to this day

- Many good times with people that were here - my old friend donhaas, Nan, TDRyan, Boston, Fumble, Dan, many others

- Guess the geek was fun. Rusty lead that I think and was a great poster back in the day. Life dragged him down and stole his zing over time

2. Board crashes forced people elsewhere

3. Gravitated to the sanctuary guys for FF leagues and generally a more adult level of conversation. Most are middle aged professionals - here there is every walk of life and freak imaginable.

4. Life happens - family and work are alot different than 15 years ago. I dont post alot over there either.

I will always appreciate TDRyan - we only had a few PMs or emails at the time but we both had the unfortunate experience of our wives miscarrying a child many years ago.

Though i was the butt of the joke, the Buck secret agent tactic by the geeks was first rate in the FF battle and that I think is what started the sanctuary

I'm sure the Sanctuary was started with good intentions as well. But the point is that both are an offshoot of this place because you or them wanted something else. And both, took away posters from here. It's why I didn't buy in. I think those places, like TDZ are great for when this bored is down or when you want to share more personal info and pictures. But only as a supplement, not the main course.
