What is the first day of the week?

Sunday starts it. Saturday ends it. They are the opposite ends of the week.

For payroll purposes the first day of the week is Sunday.

Monday is the first day. God rested on the seventh, which is Sunday.

Not if you are a jew.

Y’all never thought there would be this much disagreement now did you? I’ve discovered a lot more people are like this and have different opinions over what day is the beginning of the week

Funny thing about weekends when you're unemployed. They don't mean quite so much, except you get to hang out with your working friends. :bandana:

its not Sunday cause I try to make it thru the whole week so I can get to Sunday to watch football before starting all over again

When I look at mine calendar, the day farthest to the left each week is Sunday.  :ninja:

But I'm still gonna go with Thursday.  :dunno:

Depends on the company.  Our week ends on Friday's.

I consider the first day of the week to be Sunday.  However, when I talk with people on work related items, I refer to the "week of" being the date that Monday falls on for that week.  So, this is the week of November 4th.  :dunno:
