What did we learn? There is no stopping an influenza-type virus.

Now that this thread is at least dormant for now. I would just like to point out that I said the stats, especially the ones from NYC, were bullshit, right from the beginning. Cuomo should have played it straight, he might not have felt the long knives once he became  a liability. That’s why he went down, not because he’s a pig. He was a pig a long time ago. May have been president if he didn’t go so overboard. TDS got him.

No they weren’t.  The excess deaths tell the story, and they spike when and where Covid deaths do.  Closing in on 1 million dead from this virus, about half of which came after a very effective vaccine was available.  Sad.

Remember, 75% of domestic deaths attributed to Covid have to be re-classified according to Wallensky.  I won't hold my breath waiting for that.

Beat me to it. So Tim, are you going to tell her she’s wrong? The stats were bullshit. It was obvious.

That’s not what she said.  Just because someone has a comorbidity doesn’t mean Covid didn’t kill them.

Yes she did.  I'm going to miss your duplicitous posts, Tim.

She said they had comorbidities (and technically I believe the comment you’re referring to was talking about the vaccinated people that died, although I know even many unvaccinated people that die of Covid had comorbidities too).   She didn’t say they didn’t die of Covid.

Things in Iowa have been pretty normal for a while now.  Every state should do the same.  People continue to get sick like they did before covid and those people recover like they did before covid.  A small percentage were strongly effected by covid.  It's time for the country to go back to the way things were before covid but use some of the lessons learned.  If you're not feeling well, stay home or away from others.  Wash your hands more often.  Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze.  Use some common sense.

It's the distinction between "dies with Covid" and "died because of Covid" and she wouldn't have mentioned it if there were not an error that tended to overestimate deaths attributable to Covid.  Taking a nebulous subject and drawing a conclusion in favor of Covid deaths is not honest and is not scientific.  The misclassification rate is probably higher anyway.

It's not an error.  It's just pointing out that many people that die OF covid have comorbidities.   Unfortunately, there are a lot of people that have comorbidities.

1st day of mask optional at my wife's school.  Less than 20 people (students and faculty) are maskless out of 300.

I took my son sledding yesterday and we met his friend from school that hasn't been to school in 2 years, because his parents are freaks. The whole family of 4 showed up in masks to sled OUTDOORS :wall:   (it was not that cold)

There have been times when I'm out walking the dog in our neighborhood after the school bus drops off kids.  I'm amazed at seeing all the kids still wearing their masks while walking alone on a nice sunny day.

Yeah, lots of people not going to get rid of their security blanket any time soon.  We're technically still supposed to wear masks at work until March 21st.  I haven't put on a mask for weeks, I don't give a fok.

And the House just dropped the mask requirement just in time for the State of the Union and Biden to declare victory.  What a bunch of BS.

Those are the ones with the low IQs. Too stupid to do the research into this scamdemic.

Bottom line, all that was needed was to increase ones Vitamin D3 level, so says an Israeli study. No one needed to be injected with that failed juice.

So I missed on one. I don't see you commenting on the 12 year old who dropped dead from a jab juice induced heart attack or the healthy 31 year old Jamal Edwards who dropped dead from a heart attack. Of course you don't. Cause you got nothing. you were totally defeated trying to pimp this failed toxic garbage that will continue to kill 1000s over the next few years at least. Good chance you are one of the ones that drops dead. That's gotta suck.

What I see is good, obedient, young kid.  Led by very frightened people.  Almost makes you cry.

I'm thinking the more likely scenario is that those students were forced/required by the school, to wear the masks.  He basically told them that they didn't have to wear them if they didn't want to.  He let them make the choice for themselves.

I disagree. When I see someone wearing a mask today I know exactly what kind of person they are and what they believe. It is the badge of the woke.

DeSantis is 100% correct and its about time a public figure told these idiots the truth.

DeSantis went way over Tim's head on that one. He was berating them.

And Philadelphia has finally lifted the mask mandate for indoors, as of today. Out of the blue announcement. At least 6 months later than the rest of the state.

A few weeks ago, the school system said that since the masks weren't working, everybody had to double mask. Now, they are possibly backing off too.

Sure, I've been doing much of my shopping in the suburbs for a while since it's a 5 minute drive. But the past few 3 months or so, in my section of the city, customers just didn't give a fock anymore, and the store employees and managers didn't either. It was a subject nobody was willing to address. Oh, you don't have a mask, I don't see nothing. Let me ring you up. I haven't pulled my mask out of my pocket in a number of months.

Still going to see a bunch of dopes wearing them, but I have more options of where to shop now, without being tense that I would have to corkscrew somebody inside their ear canal for mask shaming me, and that's nice.
