Best absolutely loathsome character

Recommended Posts

We'll go fictional. Movie or TV.

Thought of it while watching Green Mile.

1. What an absolutely amazing cast.

2. I'm not talking cartoonish. Over the top evil.  Well written and acted so much so you might even hate the actor a little bit in future roles bc of it.

3. The lil priick in Green Mile definitely makes the list.

4. Darth Vader. Joker and Thanos? No.

Joffrey or Ramsey Bolton on Game of Thrones.  Both of them were so good in their roles that I almost have trouble separating them from the parts the played.

I think a great actor can make a loathsome character almost likeable.

As an example, id present Calvin candie from Django unchained, played by Leonardo dicaprio. Absolutely loathsome character in every way... But Leonardo played him so charming, he was enjoyable to watch.

Always thought one of the best of the worst was nurse ratchet from One flew over the cuckoo's nest. What  a malevolent mind f****** b**** she was.

That actress never played another role.

That proves you're an anti-negrite.

Stephen (Samuel L) was worse. Truly despicable.

Chris Walz in Inglorious Basterds was a charming horrible person also.

Dwight Yoakam as Doyle Hargraves in Slingblade.

Good one. The way he treated Digby34 was uncalled for.

First, the character's name is Nurse Ratched...

Second, Louise Fletcher player her and she has been in a lot of films and television...

Shiot, I never put it together that that was Theon.  I'd like to think I would the next time I watch John Wick.  :D

Interesting... I don't see Little Bill as a bad guy per se.  I think he thought he was doing the right thing.  "I don't deserve to die like this."  "Deserve's got nuthin' to do with it."

Anyway, one that came to mind was Mr. Blond (Michael Madsen) from Reservoir Dogs.

Hmm. Always heard that.🙁

Maybe it was the chick that played newt in aliens.

But Louise Fletcher seems a little old to be playing a little girl like that...😐
