Antifa is a leftist thing. Deal with it. If we have to eat the KKK you gotta eat this. Tough.

This proves it.   No ?

It proves that a lot of people are not happy.  Proves there is a lot of division in the country yet.  Not sure it proves leftists are scumbags since I don't know everyone's political affiliation.  I think the majority of the people protesting are leftists but I don't know about the looters.  I think a lot of the looters just want chaos and don't belong to the left or right.

I agree that Antifa is a leftist thing.  Why would that bother me?

I think this is true.

On any given day I rarely meet people that I would classify as satisfied. everyone has something to whine about.   Some people have legit complaints, whereas others are simply fully grown toddlers.

I think this has been true in the past, I suspect the big change might be that over time we have manage to develop citizens who think their little slice of complaints matters to such an extent that if left unmet they should make it known by any means necessary......until all their little unhappiness is erased.  We have lost our backbone as a nation....

I think a lot of people have more valid complaints today than 40-50 years ago. Double income households, stagnant wages, increased debt, longer work hours, no pensions, education and healthcare costs out of control etc.

So not only are these cops roughing up an unarmed black dude, they are literally forcing a weapon into his hands to try to make it look like he had a weapon. Hard to even imagine what went on before cell phones. This is why they kneel. This is why they riot.

Great. Another 30 second clip of something and not knowing what the situation is. I wonder why the liberals in this country don't want all the facts before they condemn people. Hmm...🤔

I own a 20 gauge shotgun I've had forever, it was my little self defense gun.   I've been thinking of adding another, any suggestions?

M&p shield. Good conceal carry piece. Can shoot range ammo with no problem. My GF's mom bought a full sized M&p. Too big for conceal carry imo

Whining and blaming other people for their position in life is too pervasive. My parents taught me to be grateful that I don't live in a shlt hole country.

Why are people not paying attention to this shlt? And if the guy was running away from the the guys in the truck, why did he run directly in front of them. And if he was only just jogging, why run in front of the truck instead of behind it like most normal people would do in that circumstance? And why was there a car trailing way behind all of this filming out of their car window before the truck was even in view?

Fvck that. There is way more here going on than what is being told. And Newbie and others want no investigation and automatic charges to be brought up before they even ask what is up with that.

Poor Lebron James can't go jogging now. His life is ruined because all of the whities are out to get him.

Oh boy, you got me. I guess he really was going for a jog in khakis and a white shirt that didn't have a lick of sweat on it.

Also sorry for not getting the shoes 100% from the grainy 5 second video the media gave us.

Turns out I was still right even if you want to nitpick the details because you think it supports your case. It doesn't. The "jogger" wasn't out jogging and he was a POS human that is better off dead.

ETA just like the POS George. Both of them being dead make this world a better place.

WHAT???    OK - 40-50 yrs ago would have been the 70's.   12% inflation, the end of the Viet Nam war, the Arab oil embargo,  the Iranian revolution and the capture of the US embassy personnel and keeping them hostage for well over a year, The massacre of the Israeli athletes at the Munich summer olympic games,  Watergate, Cambodian Genocide and Pol Pot, the worst airline crash in world history with almost 600 people killed, etc. etc. etc.

On the flip side, you have more computing power in your cell phone now than what they were using to fly astronauts to the moon and back in the 70s.    There was no cable TV,  few cell phones, no internet, etc.

No, we have it much better now.   Unfortunately social media and main stream media has distorted and disrupted our appreciation of that.

I wouldn't say that "no cable TV, few cell phones and no internet" was worse than having all that now. But I get your point.

Sorry, I meant the 50s / 60s, the time period most people hold up as when America was great. Seems to me it was much easier to get by as a single income household without student loan debt and out of control costs of healthcare and housing. That’s almost unheard of today and seems to be getting worse.

I don’t think it’s just that Americans have gotten lazier. We work way more hours than they did back then.

I talked to a guy at my local gun store(pretty much sold out of ammo btw) and he was telling me about the large numbers of people who were coming in wanting to buy their first gun.  So many were shocked that they couldnt simply walk out with a handgun like their politicians have led them to believe.  The next question they ask is if the rules are same on the internet.

American has always been great. In the 50's and 60's there was a greatness in that the family unit and the individual person was of the highest importance, the Democrats used their power at the time to undermine these and as a result the ongoing disintegration of the family and a person as an individual( not simply a piece of a group) has shredded the social fabric. And the recent accentuation of differences by the previous administration was like gas on the fire.

I thought America was greater back when an average guy could sustain a household on one income through hard work. When I was a kid, a friend of mine’s dad lived in the same nice neighborhood working as a cab driver in Manhattan. That same guy would probably have two part time jobs and a side gig driving Lyft with no benefits today.

It’s no coincidence that the family unit is weaker today. Both parents are typically out of the house working all day.

This will be how the Dems start to turn Antifa into an alt-right racist organization.  Now that Antifa has served it's purpose, for their side, they're going to slowly walk away from them and pretend that they were never an arm of the Democrat party.  Just like they did with the KKK.

That was a great thing, but I dont think that is what made us great.

Our people lived in peace, it was not perfect, but mostly in peace.  The family structure, the community structure, and the ability of the individual were preeminent......socioeconomic mobility was strong.  Once the Democrats stopped implementing systemic strangleholds on minorities was saw a dramatic improvement in social standards, and once the Democrats destroyed the family structure, we have seen the ruination that resulted.

He truly represents the mentality of the left well. They all ignore common sense and quickly divert to emotional response when faced with it. They react to images rather than situations. When they are cornered they switch topics or simply ignore. When they are guilty of things they say, "No, you are". When it comes right down to it, if they don't get their way, they prefer destruction over conceding and then living to fight another day.

It's a strange approach to life. A sad one.

Yeah, I wonder why...?  🤔   I'm guessing (shh...I'm not guessing, it's a fact), that the biggest part of this is because the Democrat party championed the cause of single motherhood and welfare.

Letting the riots go on unabated is a huge tactical mistake by Trump. The amount of corporate and popular support is unprecedented. Also this is a huge moral booster for the left, were a week in a now cops are starting to stand down and some have been murdered. The left will see this as a victory even if the rioting dies out naturally. Great work ConInc.

I’d argue that a lot of that peace, cultural / family stability, class mobility etc. was enabled by the type of economic opportunity we had then but don’t have today.

Not sure he had many cards to play.  He has to allow the local state leadership to have their oversight or face the vitriol of the media, which already happened in part.

If he tried to make any move at all from his level, then the media will use the "dictator" moniker against him.  The media is a key ally of the terrorists right now....
