Bill Maher gets it. The Democrats should have run the table I really didn't. And a lot of them are pissed. You can scroll down his page and see all the assault going on by BLM and Antifia people.  This stuff has went on for 7 months but the MSM has only reported on a minuscule fraction of it.

You can expect violence in this sort of situation so not shocked but just reinforces what has been happening all year.  This is normal now. This is normal in very Blue cities across America.

Like Ive said to many people who are still somehow clueless about all this stuff and the frequency in which it is happening....im sure there is a violent antagonizing pro trump crowd video out there.  But I can show you 1000s of BLM assults, lootings, destruction, harrassment of older people, flipping tables of people out eating dinner.  If you find relevant violent videos of Trump supporters acting like animals, post them.  Im sure a few are out there.  I just dont seem to come across them often.

If you want to stop the fringe lunatics, i think the first move is for the self-proclaimed rational minds to actually start solving our problems.  Here in california Everything is wildly expensive, trash and homeless are everywhere, and people are fleeing.  The elected officials need to get MAJOR solutions not tomorrow not after breakfast but now.  Or dont blame people that start turning to radical voices.

There are more far leftists than far rights, but that said, the majority of the people are in the middle.  The biggest problem is that people listen to the media and the politicians, instead of using common sense.  I'd say that the country is about 30% far left, 60% middle, and 10% far right.  The leftist media (and democrat politicians), try to tell everyone that the far right is 50% of the population.  The rightist media (and republican politicians), , try to tell everyone that the far left is 50% of the population.

So, I don't believe that each side is catering to the far side of their party at all.  They're trying to convince as much of the 60% as possible that anyone who doesn't agree with you is of the extreme opposite.

It would seem that we can all agree that not all cops are angels and some of them are bad, more likely they make mistakes.....and that they should be held accountable for all aspects of their work......luckily, that happens.....maybe not to the satisfaction of everyone....

So the vast majority of police interactions turn out just fine.  And in those rare circumstances where someone facilitates a bad outcome with bad behaviors we appear to want to ignore the bad behaviors of the person and accentuate those of the cop.....got it....

It is time to stop pretending that the biggest problem we face is cops.....that the biggest issue for the AA community is cops.....  these are utterly idiotic notions that have no place within intelligent conversation.

This is such an understatement.  It's literally like 99.9999999% of police interaction.  It's sad so many people, especially those of color, have fallen for the idea that there's this massive conspiracy of systemic racism in law enforcement.

Agree, and I think we have to accept that historically there is a precedent to be found whereby there WAS actual criminal behavior in a profound way.

If you go back in time the notions currently projected were true, and due to this ANY action that fits into that mold is attacked.....it makes sense when you consider that history, right?

But this notion has become the herald for everything, not every interaction is lopped in with this old situation. Accountability, personal responsibility, is watered down because the cop was bad or mean or whatever....

AND, what is worse, the pretense that the cops are the societal problem is borne of this deep seeded fear, which allows politicians and their media proxies to exploit these people through fear.

One of the people at the property had a gun and was taken into custody and officers also found more guns on the property, the statement said.

Officers stood guard while the house was boarded up and the fence was erected only to be dismantled by the protesters to help create their barricade.

Police in their statement said authorities between September and November received at least 81 calls about the property — including reports of fights, shots fired, burglary, thefts, vandalism, noise violations, trespassing, threats and illegally blocking traffic, sidewalks and access to homes.

 

Somebody has to stand up for the property owner as well as people who live nearby.
