Crap like that chasing speakers off of college campuses Etc is why people don't sign with the Democrats. Sure they may think Trump's an idiot and be right about it. But if the Democrats want to be a real Force they've got to stop being a real farce. In short, they need to cutout the lunatic woke crowd. It works both ways of course. Most conservatives are for rational gun laws. Almost all nra members are too. Most conservatives think the Christian fundamentalist crowd makes them all look stupid. And they do. So bottom line, both sides need to stop catering to their extreme fringes. ya mean form a 'common sense' party that works for the people. They will never let that get off the ground. If I were to sit in on any classes today and get this type of bullshlt fed to me, I really don't know what I would do. Quit the class and get a refund? Form a study group and see where that goes? But Minneapolis, like Seattle, is neutering their police force and actually putting them in danger. I can see a significant pay difference between Laramie, Wyoming and Denver. I suspect the pay difference between Denver and LIttleton CO (where I live about 10 miles south of Denver) is significantly less and the Littleton PD is not putting their officers in danger. I'm not saying Denver's is but if Denver did start acting like Seattle with regard to how they treat their police department I could see him moving to one of the suburbs around Denver that doesn't treat their officer's that way. This amount of anti police rhetoric and direct actions against them has never existed before. Just saying more money will fix it isn’t the simple solution it once was. Places like Minneapolis will just lower the already low standards to get more bodies. They aren’t concerned with getting high quality applicants. But the public and politicians just think about filling spots, not the quality of the person that does. As long as there is diversity. They don’t have to pay anymore than anyone else. Just hire whoever applied, as long as there is diversity.

Probably understaffed in these cities so you will be expected to do more or work more hours. So in these cities they may up their pay and still be understaffed. So now theit little experiment would save no money by defunding and end up with less officers. Like teaching....if I were in these professions I would rather make less and live in the country. Dealing with better people and possibly a lower cost of living is worth it for both. Some people will chase the money for sure...the young people with no experience. Voltaire 5,353 Posted November 15, 2021 I miss CHAZ. That place provided comedy gold. I wish one of these leftoid cities would defund the police and bring back the "Summer of Love." Looks like Seattle may be a good place to host Round Two as well. They have lots of local experience now. Jenny Dirtcan is still mayor (for some reason) and the only adult in city government the last time, their former police chief, has been removed. The cards are also lined up well with incompetent clowns in local, state, and now federal office now. Nobody anywhere with any semblence of responsibility. When the weather improves, if all goes well, it could be even funnier. Cross your fingers.

One has to "one up" that last virtue signaler, and reason is not at play here. To be liberal is to embrace fantasy over reality. Here we can see clearly the failure of liberal policy, but rest assured they will lie about it and pretend its someone elses fault.
