I'm saying you are implying it had nothing to do with Joe when he was VP.  Although he said himself his foreign policy was what sold Obama on him. 

FF to now and Kamala has said she played a ley role in getting the troops out.  

So Joe was useless then and useless now on foreign policy.  Neither Obama nor the people that pull his puppet strings now trusted him with the foreign policy.

Lotta excuses from the personal responsibility set. Bottom line, Trump didn’t want to be stuck holding the bag. Didn’t want to look weak when we inevitably slunk home as losers. He MIGHT have done it in his second term, if he’d had one, where he wouldn’t have to face reelection. But even then, I doubt it.
