One cannot take what a politician says at face value as a rule, Democrats are by no means immune to this.

I applaud us getting the hell out of there, but it was handled rather poorly.  It is almost too much to believe, I mean, this move was well beyond even the standard bad decisions Biden has shown the ability to make. Maybe there was a military factor at play and there was an urgency to leaving or maybe the agreement they thought they had with these criminals (which was of course just another lie) was immediately broken.

At best this shows us a deplorable decision-making paradigm on the part of Biden. And the lack of spin from the MSM is startling.

They’re unhappy with the optics. But it was always going to end poorly. I guess it would’ve been more convenient if Afghanistan slowly collapsed over a year or two after we left rather than focking immediately. But the end result is the same

Not how I heard it though I admittedly missed the beginning. He said look we lost this war, we lost it a while ago, and there was no good way to leave. But leave we had to do.

If you missed the first 10 minutes, you oughta go back and check it.  My synopsis is accurate.

Leaving is def the thing to do.  Been waiting since Obama promised to do it in 2008.  Trump did a good job drawing down.  Biden has completed it and I’m glad.  Don’t assign Biden courage, though.  He’s anything but courageous.
