I’m not sold on this being a good idea but I think it’s worth considering as an alternative to mass incarceration. Some counties pay tens of millions of dollars to house inmates. Of this is cheaper and reduces recidivism why not consider it?

Right.  I am for tougher laws.  Tougher bail.  And if someone does violent things house them.  

Id be for it if there was something in it for me or normal people like me.  If they are taking my money for promises of not acting like an animal then here is the catch.  If you sign and we catch you with a gun.....50 years.  If you assault someone....50 years.  

Your plan is to pay someone for a promise of not being violent?  A deal they can break whenever they find an opportunity? Then what the same soft system?  You are bad at making deals.

First of all it’s not my idea. It’s an idea from Andrew Yang and some others out there. I’m not sure I agree with it but I think it’s worth considering especially if someone can do the math to figure out how many people this keeps out of jail and the expense of monthly payments vs. the cost of incarceration.

Our plan right now of having the world’s largest most expensive incarceration rate isn’t going so well so I’m not going to dismiss any outside the box proposals.

SF Mayor Breed has actually appeased race hustlers like Amos Brown because she needs his support to win future elections. But what is the net impact of his idea of "taxing billionaires"? 

First, you'd see all these young tech billionaires (see a small sample size above) leaving California in droves. Which also takes away their infusion into the overall tax base. 

Second, many of the billionaires don't have the net worth to pay out their apportioned rate of "reparations" according to Brown's calculations. Should Jensen Huang be financially massacred at higher rate than the Door Dash guys because they can't afford the total bill? Wouldn't that be "inequity"?

Third, this kind of idiotic move would not only be illegal ( imagine a court trying to wrangle with this) but even if it was legal, it would cost the DNC -  the Asian voting block, the Jewish voting block, suburban women voters, the East Indian voting block and make an enemy of Hollywood and the LGBT movement ( Geffen is an openly gay power broker in Hollywood and a long time fundraiser, along with Jeffrey Katzenberg, for Team Blue campaigns and causes) 

But here's where this gets truly stupid. 

If London Breed is entertaining the thought of giving out millions in reparations, then why does she need to pay black street thugs and career criminals 300 bucks a month not to gun each other down, along with tons of innocent civilians as collateral damage, if they are already going to be paid MILLIONS of dollars according to Amos Brown? 

Breed had to approve of Brown being on the "task force"  Everything stupid that he says is only given a platform because she and Gavin Newsom gave him a public stage to say these idiotic things. 

Will the DNC accept the massive voting losses that will have down the ticket impact in New York, California and Illinois? Hawaii would just straight out flip hard Red instantly. And that's just the Asian voters lost.

London Breed wants SF home owners, who are taxpayers, in which nearly all are not going around shooting people and committing crimes to vote for her. They lose 260 billion from their sweat, toil and blood to own a home in the vastly expensive Bay Area. But they are being asked to eat that loss while THEIR TAX DOLLARS are being used to give thugs, drug dealers and career criminals, felons no less, a nice tidy 300 dollars a month, to not gun those homeowners down in their neighborhoods, that have now been devalued. Devalued by whom? In part, by those very same career criminals. 

If Breed wants and demands "social justice", then where is the actual "justice" in any of that idiotic bullsh!t.

Point to note, London Breed's base salary is 351K a year. That makes her the HIGHEST PAID MAYOR in the entire country. Again, paid with by the tax dollars of these SF homeowners. 

Breed is being paid more than any other Mayor in the entire nation to further brutalize actual tax payers in her district to pay the thugs and scum that are driving down their actual property value in the first place.
