Tree of Knowledge 1,697 Posted September 29, 2023 It was obvious to everyone she was on death’s doorstep but the ghouls that were riding her coattails and drunk with her power kept parading her out there.  Sad situation.
RLLD 4,143 Posted September 29, 2023 I disagreed with her on many points, but I am saddend of her passing to be sure. I appreciated her alternative points of view as they often helped me better understand my own. In her time she was great, truly. I want to beleive that she kept on working hard because it was her calling and she loved the work, but I would rather for her to have seen her take the last years of her life to relax and reflect. I hope they are able to find someone with similar quality, even if I might disagree with their positions. 4 1

Power corrupts. There's a reason these people go in as paupers, big on ideas and "for the people" nonsense to get elected and come out multi-millionaires while nothing changes for anyone else. Or if they go in rich, they come out EVEN magnitudes richer. Once they get that power, they don't EVER want to give it up. Feinstein is the perfect example of that. She should have retired 10 years ago but that sweet taste of power and money was too hard to resist. RIP, but Feinstein was one of the reasons why our country is so divided nowadays.

Mark Davis 338 Posted September 29, 2023 RIP. It's like I warned the D's when they gloated about Jeff Sessions losing his primary, if you liked Sessions wait for Tommy Tuberville. Probably whoever comes out of CA next will make us long for Feinstein. But no doubt we need age/term limits as others have said.
