Favorite Oktoberfest. With so many good breweries around me I’m always drinking micros but I like the old schools for this style

Going with some Drakes Juicy Hoot before dinner. I'll switch to wine with dinner because I'm not a savage.

Rum, applejack, orange liqueur, lemon juice, orgeat, 3 types of bitters.  5 ounces of 70+proof alcohol going down smooth.

It's a full month that starts after Labor Day.

And it's nothing official, just how I do it.

Titos, pineapple juice and pelligreno sparking water. Costco stopped carrying the cheap kirkland brand sparkling water. :wall:

Ya know ... I was thinking the same thing but my daughter wanted to see Miggy live one last time.  3 beers and $847 later I'm wondering if a sober October is in order but son's b-day then maybe Detroit beer fest later in October ... There is just no real good time to quit drinking, right?

I'm in Tuscany so we had a wine tasting last night; Chianti Classico and a few other reds.  Tutto bene. 🍷

Anyway poker night. Kona Montauk Yuengling were the beers. Tullemore DEW were the shots.
