Your favorite sport to watch?

I like sports in general a lot less as I get older but I guess it’s NFL football. It’s the only sport I’ll watch consistently even if my team isn’t playing.

NFL and it's not even close. Well, I do enjoy Major League baseball every now and then, it's not something I watch regularly. 

The only reason I'm watching the NBA is because the bucks are in the playoffs. Otherwise, I don't watch it.

NFL -- Arrange schedule around Cards games; watch all of the others.  I go through a mild depression when the season ends, even when the Cards are crappy like recent years.

MLB -- Watch DBacks, some playoffs.  Maybe my favorite to see live, mostly because I live 15 minutes from the stadium and games are closer to 2.5 hours now.  And there is just nothing quite like a day at the ballpark.  And it is quieter so easy for me to speak and be heard.  We got Season Passes, which cost $300 and we can go to any of the 81 home games all season.  I've already been to 5, it's great to be retired.  My daughter showed me where free parking is, so I won't go broke paying the local AME church $20 every game any more.

NBA -- Watch Suns, some playoffs.  Live events are fun but super loud; even other teams complain about how loud they pipe in music.  Hoping the Suns don't get bounced by the Wolves; they looked like shiot in game 1.

PGA -- Majors, otherwise it's on in the background 

Olympics -- Not sure where to rank it.  I absolutely love the sports and will stream obscure competitions all day.

Play when I was growing up : Basketball (and golf)

 

NBA has become almost unwatchable. I like and follow MLB but even with the pitch clock, it is hard for me to watch any single game knowing there are 162 and unfortunately the pitch clock has ruined going to games, imo. When I go to an MLB game, I pick a nice day and I enjoy the slow pace of the game and drinking some beers in a fun atmosphere. When I went last season, the game was over so quick I barely had 3 beers and some nachos.

I enjoy the saddle bronc part of rodeo. 

I would add horse racing, too.  The big races are fun, but the horse racing channel on tv is steady entertainment.
