4 pointsThree points: 1. My main problem with the OP is that I don’t think Trump’s policies were good for this nation. I think they were awful. But then I don’t share his governing philosophy. 2. But beyond that, the most important thing a President is supposed to do is protect us in time of emergency. Not every President has an emergency so we can’t judge them on this. Trump was unfortunate enough to have one the this country’s greatest emergencies on his watch: the Covid crisis. That’s not his fault, he was just unlucky. But we can and should grade him for how he responded. I give him a D-. 3. Finally I believe Donald Trump betrayed the Constutition by trying to reverse the results of the 2020 election. This is not a question of Trump being a jerk, or a bad guy with good ideas, as the OP wants to believe. He betrayed the Constitution and that should make him ineligible.

2 pointsOn #2, Trump went from nothing to vaccine in 9 months by pushing a public/private partnership that used exceptions to get things accomplished in record times. If the "regular" government had been in charge, we'd still be waiting for approvals. Biden then took this remarkable feat and arranged for it to go on trucks to pharmacies. And somehow, Leftists view this as the awesome accomplishment, vs. the unprecedented creation and approval of the vaccine.

2 pointsThis country needs a guy like Trump after the pussification antics of Obama and Biden.

2 pointsOnly the sith deal in absolutes... Seriously, though, this is kind of a lazy take. You're acting as if a massive group of people all share some sort of groupthink on this. I think if you took the time to speak with evangelicals one by one, you'd find a wide range of feelings about Trump varying from allegiance to disdain and everything in between. Kind of like saying "in my neck of the woods, all blondes love him and think... I don't have a clue how you feel about evangelicals. But, give the group a shred of credit in that most people at the end of the day have the capacity to think for themselves on who they support and to what level.

1 pointThis is a 43-page thread. I skimmed it and did not see any poll of lower class people saying this was the worst economy of their lifetime / worse than 2008. Maybe it’s buried here. More likely you’re just saying shiit you can’t back up again.

1 pointI just need to pay for the new year. I tend not to do that until we have everyone locked into playing.

1 pointWORLD — The globe was left in utter shock today as the murderous Iranian regime had the incredible gall to ignore the warnings of a confused old dotard. Despite President Biden telling the Iranians, "Don't", the Iranians did, much to the surprise of billions around the world. "I really can't believe the regime that openly financed the murder and rape of hundreds of Israelis had the nerve to stand up to a decrepit old fool," said local man Donald Stanley. "Who could have possibly seen this coming?" According to sources, President Biden was furious that Iran completely ignored him and bombed Israel anyway. "Biden is looking into several options for retaliation, including threatening to put the Ayatollah in time-out," explained Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre, "If it comes to it, Biden is prepared to withhold the Irianian leader's evening treat or even his screen time. We mean business." At publishing time, the Ayatollah had announced that if Biden didn't keep sending him tens of millions of dollars, he would hold his breath until he passed out.

1 point#2 would have been accomplished by any president under the circumstances. IIRC, Phizer did it with no govt. assistance. Approvals would have been expeditedated by any govt, as seen by the rest of the world approving the drugs immediately.

1 pointI shouldn't have said "nothing," as clearly there was prior scientific research. But as you said, Warp Speed was a great accomplishment. You may or may not be aware of a concerted effort to delay the approval of the vaccine until after the election. Our resident Covid expert @TimHauck followed it more closely than I did, and can show the receipts if you are interested (and he is willing). It is truly one of the most inexplicably uninvestigated influences on the 2020 election.

1 pointTrump is not hated by the people. Trump is hated by those in power who control the entertainment industry, the news media, the education system, big tech, much of the federal bureaucracy, along with much of big corporate America. In turn, Trump has been hit with endless propaganda which villianizes him, and this is what has caused the great divide. Any leader who threatens the power of the establishment will be deemed divisive and hateful. This is the battle as old as time. It is the battle of the elites who want all the riches and power vs. the people who want to live in freedom. America was the idea which the people finally broke away from chains of the elites and won their freedom. Now we have lost much of our freedoms to the institutions who work in the interests of the elites. You can toss 99% of the issues out the window. Unless we start to loosen the grip of tyranny, our future is doomed to be nothing but slaves.

1 pointI haven't, and won't even pretend to be knowledgeable about what happens there. I do know that I haven't seen any reported incidents of gun crime from a private sale that happened at a gun show. Not even sure that's a common transaction. I've heard most sales at gun shows go through reputable gun shops that do background checks. But Rusty and @The Real timschochet and other libs seem to have a hard on to go after this "loophole." Even giving them every benefit of the doubt I don't see how it's something that should concern anyone. But mention voter ID to them and it's like you punched their mother in the mouth. It's bizarre to me.
