Being foster parents me and my wife see the struggles that people have that simply can’t make enough money to love on. It’s a very sad situation, and one that the board I meet with once every other month about this issue has no true resolve. Here in Washoe they have been building what is called affordable housing, helping some out here, that’s very good news.

Here's what pisses me off about all that. 23 million Americans will lose their ACP benefit this month. What is that? It stands for the affordable connect program. ACP That program provides discounted, subsidized connectivity for 23 million of America's most vulnerable. And I think we can all agree that whatever side of the fence you're on, giving people access to the ability to look for jobs, schedule medical appointments, locate resources, stay connected, etc. Bidens giving out debt forgiveness to people with mid six incomes. I've lost track of how much we've directly given UKE, but I'll guarantee you there's an equal amount that Congress, WH, Pentagon have funneled. We're building gazillion dollar carriers that even the NAVY doesn't want. Not to mention all the GD pork funneled to Current members on both sides. And meanwhile, what amounts to maybe $25 a month - a piddling amount - can't even get on the Congressional Calendar. It's the first time in a long time I've written multiple representatives, but GD it, there's not another single program out there that is more efficacious as this. Just a huge indictment of the whole GD system.

A few years ago, I had three still-existing bands on my bucket list. 1.) Radiohead. 2.) Wilco. 3.) Black Crowes. Went to see Wilco at Memphofest in Memphis in 2022. That's a great focking mustic festival. If you have the VIP pass, which was totally worth it, you just show up 10 minutes before a show, and you can get in the front, which is what we did. We chatted with a random woman near us before they came on, and I told her this was bucket list for me. She said, "Stick around for a few minutes after the show." We were planning to do that anyway because Widespread Panic was next, and they're GREAT. Wilco finished it's set, and I was blown away. The woman disappears, and the next thing I know, she's up on stage, grabs a set list, goes over to the sound guy, grabs a set list, returns and hands them to me. So I've got two set lists on my office wall. Saw Black Crowes earlier this month at a smallish venue in Dallas. Had great seats. The first half of the show was BORING, but they picked it up and kicked ass in the second. Now I just need Radiohead.

Where did this come from? Of course I condemn it. But it’s important to distinguish between anti-semitism and anti-Israel.

Inflation is still out of control. Sure the fed will say it's fine so long as you don't account for things you actually need to live. But everyone is worried about Trump. A guy who spent 4 years as president with a very hostile Democrat and republican wing officially and unofficially through the media attacking him constantly. How can a normal American look around and think yeah the people in office for 40 years aren't the problem that Trump guy caused all this.

well, if he doesnt get open, he could still find himself useful. Dez Bryant wasnt a great route runner, but Romo would have him run to a spot on the field and then throw it up so he can high point the ball. so even if fully covered, he still makes the catch (if he has the kind of QB that can do that) Not saying that is the situation here. I have not looked at much other than the scouting report, but a good accurate QB can make use of a guy like who can high point the ball and win those battles even if the rest of his development does not happen.
