Interesting take. I don't vote specifically for "white issues". In addition, since I'm not black, I don't feel like I am qualified to report out on what every black person does or doesn't do. Thankfully we have you and squish to keep us in the loop about black feelings. I wonder if black people enjoy being told how they feel by whites

And you know why it’s so many times? Because conservatives let him get away with it every time. No matter what the guy does you blindly support him anyhow. There is no political figure in American history who has gotten away with more corruption and illegal acts than Donald Trump and it’s not even close. Those of us who are not conservative look on in frustration and horror, but there’s not much we can do about it if half the nation seems to be in this cult.

You mean the time when Trump attempted to halt flights from China and was called a homophobe and other names things by democrats. That the time you’re referring to?

Sigh. @GutterBoy is not a racist. I had a problem with his question but now I understand the context a little better. He was responding to Trump and Trump is the one who is racist. But I think it’s a fool’s errand to attempt to analyze Trump’s comments too closely. Your views on the modern day Democratic Party remain skewed and inaccurate. Rather than attack specific ideas you disagree with, you seem to prefer labels: Marxist, racist, etc. it’s lazy and wrong.

Something needs to be done about these violent people. Time to institutionalize these nuts.

Count me as one who doesn't understand all the fervor over the Butker speech. He qualified enough of it with personal experience and anecdote intead of just saying "DO THIS!" and he was speaking at a religious institution of higher learning. Harrison Butker is kind of a lame keynote speaker for a college; but I don't really think he was being malevolent, pig headed or dismissive to women in the working world.

This guy Costello is already getting killed and he hasn’t even faced cross examination yet. What a disaster for the defense.

Affirmative action? The Rooney Rule? The sponsorship of minority based networking groups. At my company, there has been a rotation program that trained young engineers for management. They didn't say they were excluding white males, but when they post the group photo every year, it's clear they're excluding white males... Unless we think there isn't a single white male in a yearly class of 50 that is qualified for the program. I've been on recruiting trips for 20 years where we were given clear direction to seek out minority candidates. They even counted up the groups in the car leaving. "Ok, there were 8 hispanic males, 4 Hispanic women. 6 African American males...."

"The answer lies in Democratic, not Republican politics, and in the bitter, exhausting spring of 2008. At the time, the Democratic presidential primary was slipping away from Hillary Clinton and some of her most passionate supporters grasped for something, anything that would deal a final reversal to Barack Obama." According to the article, the theory that Obama was born in Kenya "first emerged in the spring of 2008, as Clinton supporters circulated an anonymous email questioning Obama's citizenship.'" The second article was published by the Telegraph, a British paper, that stated: "An anonymous email circulated by supporters of Mrs Clinton, Mr Obama's main rival for the party's nomination, thrust a new allegation into the national spotlight - that he had not been born in Hawaii."

Wow. People are still supporting DEI after watching how it has evolved? Ignorant or obtuse, it’s one of the two.

I would agree that Trump has not done more for blacks than Abraham Lincoln. He has certainly done more for them than any President in the last 50 years, possibly longer but I am not a presidential scholar.

You forget that I've seen your posts for what? 20 years. I know you've made racist comments for the majority of that time. People like you think supporting a grift like DEI means your not racist because you still can't understand after all these years that all you have to do to not be racist is treat people equally. I suppose it's good you're at least trying to not be racist. Good for you.
