vuduchile 1,945 Posted October 27, 2016 Wow. Just grabbed him off waivers last week. My RBs ar now Zeke, Gordon. D Murray, Ware, Morris and Booker. I really want to trade for a Julio or AJ receiver. Which one would you give up?
Phil Simms 11 133 Posted October 27, 2016 M Gordon - Sit D Freeman - Start Booker - Flex C Michael - Start Gurley - BYE A Morris - No I suppose I sit Gordon, he just always scores so difficult to bench.

I would sit cMike. He was shut down last week and the team as a whole did not look good. Now Wilson is hurt again. His immobility is hurting the whole offense. thePRO 78 Posted October 27, 2016 No excuse for Booker on waiver after this week or the week before. His playing time and carries have been trending up all season. He was also highly touted coming out of college and in training camp. Every year there's a few players that just needs an "opportunity" to start and they can win you a championship. Booker is one of them. I had Ware, Henry and Kenneth Dixon as the others entering the season. Same scenario with the coach now saying they need to get him more involve coming out of the bye. Eh, get over it. I'd like to run through your waiver wire. Some people act like every single player that has some type of medium to high potential are all scooped away and your WW is an empty, dry place without any player that has some sort of upside or potential. That said. He was scooped up the other day in one league. Gone in another. And scooped up again yesterday in my final league. I also have James White, Stewart, and Charles on the bench in a PPR league. Ware and Langford in another. McCoy, McKinnon and Jalen Richardson in the last league. (Return yards league, small benches) Only reason I've kept JRich. But between him and McKinnon I wish I had dropped one for Booker last week. At the same time I have David Johnson, Spencer Ware, and LeSean McCoy so I have other pressing needs.
BobSanders_33 127 Posted October 27, 2016 Well I have Booker Freeman Blount Ware Maybe Blount sits for me idk Blount is tough to sit. I have DJ, Ware, CMIKE and Booker (cuffed with CJ). I like that Booker has monopoliesed the backfield but I don't know if I came start him over CMIKE vs NO.

Captain Goomy Noomy Roo 50 Posted October 27, 2016 With recent injuries etc... I am now stacked at RB in one of my leagues: David Johnson - RB1 Booker - RB2 Quizz - Flex Gordon - Sit C-Mike - Sit Crowell - Sit If I can get hold of a stud WR, I am set... But I am ok with TY, Jeffery, D. Thomas, Tyrell Williams (only need to play 2) Also held out with Brady and Gronk... first couple weeks were bleak but rollin' now of course... was worth the wait. In some he was drafted and would have been on someones bench all year. That's not to say there arent players to be picked up on the wire. There are a handful I am watching now. But cruising the waiver wire involves some time. You gotta be willing to put in your research, and watch snap counts to see if a trend is in place. When you see a players snap count start to rise, the odds of his making a splash will go up. I agree lots of these guys get their shot when someone above them on the depth chart gets hurt or is ineffective, but sometimes the Coaching staff sees the talent and just needs to establish a comfort level with the rookie (or second year player)
AintNoStoppinMeNow 68 Posted October 27, 2016 Ian Rappaport (who's usually very good) tweeted this morning that he's been told that CJA told his friends he's out for the year. CJA tweeted back "False." I would post the tweets but CJA then deleted them and said he's staying off social media and not letting negative people get to him. So, bottom line is, if you own CJA I would not drop him just yet unless you have shallow benches. But things don't look good for him. If you're a Booker owner, congratulations on your newfound RB1. Law 241 Posted October 27, 2016 On IR. This sucks! I have one league where Booker was available. I didn't think he was as he shouldn't have been, but he was. Unfortunately, Wednesday is my racquetball night and I didn't get home till 8:30. By the time ate and got around to checking the Internet at 9:45, my biggest rival in this league picked Booker up at 9:40. FIVE minutes! IF I had checked the league page when I first got home, I would have picked him up. DAMN!

Law 241 Posted October 27, 2016 WOW. What a lotto ticket Booker has become. I have held onto him all year in the hopes he would take the job. I don't know. It's not like CJA was an all out stud ad Booker will slid right in. Together, CJA and Booker had almost 700 yards rushing and 878 total yards in 7 games. That's 97 yards rushing and 28 yards receiving a game, but it's not like Booker will get 100% of that. Someone else will take up some of that as his backup. Let's say he gets 70%, which is high, that's about 88 total ypg. That's great, but not super elite. Don't get me wrong, I wish I had him in every league, but I don't think he will be in the Bell, Elliott, Johnson, McCoy, or D Murray range. Maybe not even in the Ware range if Charles remains soft. I think Booker can be more in the Gurley/Gordon range, but that's unknown too.
