Simply being a US citizen or even a legal resident is quite an advantage over many others in the world.

 

Hell, even being an illegal immigrant here isn't such a bad deal for some.

 

Within the US, privilege is driven more by economic status than race or sexual orientation.

You wouldn't believe the number of people who have walkers these days. Because it gets them special privileges. Meanwhile, instead of using them as they were designed, they're mostly just luggage carriers or whatever other crap that hoarders want to carry with them.
