I think I mentioned in the beginning of the week that my son's roommate came back from Chicago and had the 'Vid. He then went to stay with his GF so my son is no longer exposed. His grandma (my MIL) is in town visiting until Tuesday and he hasn't seen her all week. It has been 5 days and he has no symptoms, so I think ??? guidance is that it's OK to see him? Let's go with that. Anyway, enter the different personalities: Son doesn't care, he is somewhat anti-vax an only got vaxxed because his work made him. Wife is "done" with Covid; she is anti-mandate, she proposed the end of quarantine. Grammy is also "done" with Covid, having had countless lockdowns and restrictions at her living place in Michigan. But she warns, don't tell her daughter in law that my son even was exposed, as she is a devout Covid religious zealot and would be apoplectic if we risked it. Older daughter will join us but asked if she could hang outside to be safe. She had confirmed Covid 4-6 weeks ago so is probably the safest of us all. Youngest daughter thankfully has to work today so she can't come over. I say "thankfully" because she is deep into the Covid cult. She is the one with diabetes, and throughout this I have been very proud of how seriously she has taken it. But now, as it increasingly appears that things are easing up, she seems unable to do so. I have more thoughts on this that I may put into @nobody's "mass psychosis" thread if time allow. And me... I'm good with him coming over.
