Honestly I think most rational people understand that "cases" don't mean a whole lot.   However in most of the areas where "cases" are increasing now, so are hospitalizations (and deaths in some areas, TBD in others).

Good friend of mine passed from sepsis last week.  We all chipped in cash to get him setup at home a little over a month ago so he would be able to have friends and family close as him time came close.

His wife got a call from the doctor last week asking if they would allow him to be tested for COVID.....she was like, "how about you go fock yourself...."

Correct. This HAS to be done.  If Biden win's he will then need to always point to Trump for anything negative, while claiming victory for anything positive, its politics and what not....

Yeah they are laying the groundwork.  We all know this thing cannot be stopped with masks and shutting down the world.  However Biden PROMISED he would make it go away.  The NYT is giving him an out.

It was too late to stop in December when the Chinese were covering it up rather than trying to stop it then. Even if we get rid of all of the cases in the US it will just be brought back again from a foreign country.

Hospitals are starting to get overwhelmed again.  Some hospitals in Iowa are suspending elective surgeries.  I believe it's the same in Wisconsin too.

“Overwhelmed”. The hospitals in NYC , the epicenter, were so overwhelmed they didn’t bother using the hospital ships provided. You believe everything you’re told and nothing of what you see. It’s supposed to be the other way around.

Not sure what you're talking about here.  I have never tried to scare anyone with misinformation and I can't post on FBG.  All I did was pass along information that I received from my cousin's wife who works at the hospital.  Surgeries are getting postponed because the hospitals are getting swamped with COVID cases, that's the truth of it.

Mayor in Houston had a large hospital built by the Guard. It closed in 5 days. No business. But he still complains about capacity of hospitals. There are a lot of free testing centers run by blacks with no medical background. Mainly black organizations. When the media shows up they never ask how many test they conduct a day and they pan in tight so nobody can see there is no business. I jog by one and have yet to see anyone there but them screwing around on their phones.

Sure, send it up the Mississippi River.  I don't know if it's so bad that it would come to that but I know that they are busier than they have been with COVID cases.  That's all I was saying.

Case numbers are misinformation... due to that FACT they changed the "science" in order to get those numbers.

I'm not an azzhole so I'm not going to ask her something so stupid.  My comment said nothing about how busy nurses were, just that there is a spike in COVID cases leading to canceling elective surgeries.  For some reason you all like to go the extra mile with assumptions.
