The SB feels less and less special every year. I would chalk it up to getting old, but I don’t think so. I still love the regular season and playoffs. There’s just too much going on with the game now, woke crap aside. They need to not have the week off in between and cut the halftime down. I know the commercials aren’t going anywhere. Amd for gods sake, just have a normal National Anthem. They try too hard. People really care about their numbers. They shouid realize that.

Yeah.  Too much of a spectacle.

It was a pretty crappy game, i quit watching early 3rd quarter when it looked like there was no way the chief's could come back. My wife and I watched started watching a movie and I checked the score a few times to make sure i was not going to miss the comeback of the century.

As far as tampa is concerned I chose Devin White in the first round last year in my IDP dynasty league

i think one problem is free agency and money killed the old rivalries.  teams used to truly hate each other.  now they are all buddies. favre going from the packers to the vikings just felt so wrong. richard sherman going from the seahawks to the 49ers was another very bad thing.  robert edwards destroying his leg at the pro bowl forever changed that event to the point where everyone avoids it and its meaningless.  the super bowl was once a point of civic pride but it feels more and more corporate.

or as they say these days, the NFL is not keeping it real.

It’s like the networks who keep shoving A-Rod down our throats in baseball. Do they not know that anyone  who still actually watches baseball can’t stand him? Even Yankees fans?

I think Mahomes is great. He’s going to win a lot of games and be the face of the NFL for years to come. But I did raise my eyebrows when they were saying he had a shot to catch Brady in Super Bowl wins. A few reasons why that would be incredibly difficult. One, the AFC east was horrible for Brady’s run, and you would have to think the AFC west won’t be nearly as bad as that was. Kind of impossible. Two, Andy Reid is old. He’s not going to be coaching Mahomes forever like BB did with Brady. Also, even with all that going for Brady, he still had a bad day at the office once in a while in the playoffs. It’s going to happen when you go all the time. It’s a single elimination tournament. Don’t count on the chiefs getting a bye and HFA as often as Brady did.

I agree! Doubt KC makes it back next year for the AFC.

I was wrong earlier in the year.  I didnt believe Tampa would be a top team.  Their defense played great.

They matched up perfectly.  Fast linebackers that can keep up with Kelce. Great tackles that could flush Mahomes. Did KC even try to run? Didn't seem like it. Reid was out flanked.

My 1st post in this thread.

Worst P.I. call in the history of man, neither announcer said a word. What the fock happened to overturning horrendous P.I. calls? Anyone remember the Saints? and the new rule they made? That was less than 2 minutes, why didn't the booth say to review it? Was an obvious non call.

That being said, I am thrilled for TB 12 and FOCK Belicheat in the eye. Fock you Belicheat you miserable pr1ck

Mahomes was running for his life the whole game, and wasn’t getting much help from his receivers (or the refs).

Some of these throws were insane, and should have been caught:

That will give Mahomes a better chance. With Reid, forget it. He's a dumbass.

They SMOKED a backup Oline. Not gonna give them that much credit.

And to think, KC had 13 days to come up with a way to prevent 4 guys from getting past 5... and they couldn't do it.  On top of that, they didn't even try.  Did you notice how many times KC used extra TE's to help block on the OLine?  No?  Me either.  It's because they didn't.  Did you notice how the Bucs sold out to stop the pass?  Yeah, me too... it was like 80% of the game.  Did you notice had KC never tried to actually attack that by running the ball?  No?  Me either.  I think they ran it what... 10 times the whole game?  KC literally went out there and tried to force their game on every play from start to finish... regardless of the fact that it never worked - from start to finish.

KC didn't show up this WEEK, not just yesterday.  It wasn't their OLine's fault or the refs... it was the entire coaching staff that let the entire team down.  Tampa dominated the whole game and the KC staff never even tried to stop it.

Yup.  KC's gameplan was non existent.  They showed up in the super bowl and laid a giant egg.  we all deserved better, fock that team.

Suddenly starting to see stories of Mahomes toe and how he needs surgery.

You dummy, We all knew he's had turf toe for weeks and that he was planning on surgery.  He looked alot better in the AFCC than he did yesterday after two weeks rest, but we all know turf toe doesn't go away after two weeks.

Someone at my party said they saw a tweet where there was a prop bet involved for some serious cash and the speculation was it was definitely planned.

look stupid, just because you didn't know something two weeks ago but know it now doesn't make it "news" now.

Anyone who follows football saw the injury during the game, saw how the injury affected his running and throwing during the game, heard about it before the AFCC game and once again before the super bowl.

It's not "news" now just because you're hearing about it for the first time.  Shut up.

The whole Chiefs thing got real annoying, real fast. Players are diks, their families are diks, and their fans got a little too cocky. Mommy whining on Instagram. STFU.

Not all their fans and now after reading that some libs were triggered because Brady won and it was Black History Month I"m glad he did.
