So many of you are just angry because you won't be reimbursed for the time and money spent failing to get your G.E.D.

I went to a better school than you. I’m angry because the left abandoned the working class and it’s now the party of people I hate mainly white useful idiot soyboy and feminazi leftists. Plus, you’re a bunch of closet racists. Let’s get it over with and split the country. My side has all the people that can fix stuff when it breaks. Your side only knows how to cry and manufacture faux outrage while you bang on your keyboard.

Do you actually believe this or is it just another trolling attempt?  I think most of us are all in agreement on this issue.  It's focking ridiculous.

Impeccable timing by Washington too.

We received this email yesterday:

As a reminder your SBA COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan payment is due 30 months from the date of the original Note. Our records indicate your first payment will be due starting October, November, or December 2022.

This is not a forgivable loan.

As a small biz owner, who never finished college, this type of handout really pisses me off.

Wrong, this is an executive order, Trump signed legislation passed by the Democratically controlled Congress. Do you see the difference?

Student loan debt and the cost of education in general is a huge problem but this is a bad solution.

On the other hand my SD graduates next year and this will erase half her debt, so unlike nearly everything the government does at least my family will benefit from it.

Lots of things happen I don’t like. But the Democratic process plays out and that’s the way it goes.  Didn’t here. You don’t care about the structure or culture of our country anymore.  Trump broke you.  OMB, all day, every day.  You ain’t ever coming back from it.

I would not bank on that.  This kind of pay-to-play stuff still has a cost.  It might scratch that immediate itch to pay off some of the money we owe, but at what cost?

I think this move is bad on multiple levels, and pointedly helps white people far more than others. This is simply an attempt to shore up an area where Biden has been struggling politically, young elite white people. He is trying to buy them.

Eventually everything comes due, and it will be the next generation that faces some stark realities....notably these moves are energizing the eventual move of the dollar away from the global reserve currency.  Once that happens, and i think it will, our kids are going to face some hard times.

About 2/3rds or her tuition was paid and the remainder is around $20k. About half of which will be erased.

I usually get nothing out of my absurd tax burden so at least she’ll graduate with less debt. That’s the silver lining for me.

Fair enough, I see your point.

I am concerned as to how this will likely make inflation worse, enable colleges to gouge even more, placate the already over-energized sense of entitlement with our youth and ultimately contribute to the diminishment of our global competitiveness,

Biden has a way of continually outdoing the last stupid thing he has done while in in office.

Stopped building of the border wall.

Reversed energy independence.

Completely botched Afghanistan.

Is on a constant spending spree causing massive inflation. Spend and tax. Green energy that will make China richer and nothing will change here except our debt will go up.

Continues to weaponize the DOJ against Trump. (Directive #1: Destroy political opponents)

Continues with the spending spree with this ridiculous student loan garbage. Giving a tax burden to hard working people and giving that money to people who can afford to pay for their own misguided debt if they just suck it up and stop buying their daily $5 lattes.

There are like 40 more dumbass things he has done that I'm leaving out but this is a start.

FLASHBACK: Pelosi Said Biden Doesn’t Have Power To Cancel Student Debt. Now Calls Move ‘Bold’

https://dailycaller.com/2022/08/25/nancy-pelosi-said-joe-biden-doesnt-have-power-cancel-student-debt-now-calls-move-bold/

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi called President Joe Biden’s announcement to cancel up to $20,000 in student debt for certain borrowers “bold” despite saying last year Biden lacked the authority to do so.

Biden announced Wednesday he would be canceling up to $20,000 in student debt for Pell Grant recipients while canceling up to $10,000 in student loans for those making under $125,000 a year.

A report by the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business found the move to cancel student debt could cost taxpayers more than $300 billion over the next ten years.

“POTUS’ bold action is a strong step in Democrats’ fight to expand access to higher education,” Pelosi tweeted Wednesday. “By delivering historic targeted student debt relief to millions of borrowers, more working families will be able to meet their kitchen table needs as they recover from the pandemic.” (RELATED: ‘Who Is Paying For This?’: Doocy Hammers Jean-Pierre On Student Loan Forgiveness)

— Nancy Pelosi (@SpeakerPelosi) August 24, 2022

Pelosi’s comments are a change of tune from remarks made in July 2021 when she said Biden had no authority to cancel student debt.

“People think that the President of the United States has the power for debt forgiveness. He does not.”

FLASHBACK to April:

Pelosi: “People think that the President of the United States has the power for debt forgiveness. He does not.” pic.twitter.com/w3g9mAbFsb

— Daily Wire (@realDailyWire) August 24, 2022

“He can postpone. He can delay. But he does not have that power. That has to be an act of Congress. And I don’t even like to call it forgiveness because that implies a transgression. It’s not to be forgiven, just freeing people from those obligations.”

“The President can’t do it. So that’s not even a discussion. Not everybody realizes that. But the President can only postpone, delay, but not forgive.”

The Biden administration is relying on a post-9/11 law to cancel $10,000 in student debt. The “HEROES Act” was first proposed in 2003 and was intended for military members serving the U.S. in the wake of the deadly terrorist attacks. The Department of Education cited the “COVID-19 pandemic” as a reason Biden could use the HEROES Act to legally cancel student debt since the law allows for the modification of federal student loans in the midst of a “war or other military operation or national emergency.”

It's a shell game folks.    Bookmark this post and tell me in 6 months if it's accurate or not:

  1. Biden did this via EO and it's legality is based on the "emergency" of CV19
  2. Courts will smack this down as unconstitutional
  3. Dems will wail and moan about "right wing justices" taking this away from poor student debtors and get their base whipped up in a frenzy about "all the right-wingers the right has put on the courts"
  4. Somehow this will work out that the dems get a little credit for trying to do this and the repubs will get the blame for "obstructing legislation to solve the student debt crisis"

All of this is exactly how the dems are maping this out and the repubs will walk right into the trap.

This seems like a real possibility.
