RLLD 4,143 Posted May 31, 2023 It would not make sense for an incumbent president to debate in-party contenders. I think that would be pointless for the most part. Reality 3,096 Posted May 31, 2023 Duh, he can barely make it through the extremely limited amount of press conferences he is allowed to have. No need to expose him further. His handlers are scared to death every time he's near an open mic. He's an absolute embarrassment to the country any time he speaks in public.

Mike Honcho 5,096 Posted May 31, 2023 2 hours ago, tubby_mcgee said: Point Given. (not the horse) I was using the headline that I posted to get to my point. But yes, my headline wasn't quite correct.... no one will debate a truly inferior candidate. I get that. I really don't think he is fit for office. and if I'm a democrat, I'm looking/hoping for another candidate. Like, you...personally...Mike Honcho... do you see everything (his movements, his speech, etc) as "normal"? Maybe you do...maybe you think the naysayers are blowing things out of proportion. But my response to would be, Well, there's folks that stand up and outwardly yell "Pitbulls are no different than any other dog", "its the owners, not the dog" etc. My response is, then ..."How come owners of Golden Retrievers aren't pleading their case that their dog is "misjudged" or having to argue "Golden Retrievers are no different than any other dog" . There have been plenty of other Democratic politicians in which no one had to defend their cognitive abilities, etc. Also....random thought here on a tangent....I think the #1 ranked democratic politician is Tulsi Gabbard. That would be my answer. I don't think he's suffering dementia and if fact I think a large part of it is the GOP projecting to keep people from talking about the cognitive abilities of 'person, woman, man, camera, tv' guy. Biden stumbles over a some works, he's in cognitive decline!!! He's suffering from dementia!!! But the guy who thinks he won the 2020 election, thinks it's no big deal to ask for 12K votes and all the other nuttiness he espouses daily, that you guys are like I'd prefer a younger candidate just based on how taxing the job must be, but if it shapes out to be between those two, just on that cognitive abilities and being able to differ between fact and fiction, Joe Biden by a mile. 1
thegeneral 2,897 Posted May 31, 2023 People will judge if they want Biden or the Republican, his age, how he does in that debate, job he’s done, etc will be what determines that. Him debating in a Dem primary is dumb and would be odd for him to do.
jerryskids 6,559 Posted May 31, 2023 2 hours ago, Mike Honcho said: Trump considering skipping one or more GOP primary debate Former President Donald Trump has privately discussed skipping either one or both of the first two Republican presidential primary debates, according to three sources who have spoken with Trump about his plans. Trump’s advisers have pointed to his commanding lead in the polls as one reason he is hesitant to share the stage with his GOP challengers. “Why would we debate? That would be stupid to go out there with that kind of lead,” one Trump adviser said. What would Trump debate about? All he has said in the past few years is "I was robbed!" and insulting nicknames for his opponents. Hell, if it does end up Trump vs Biden, I predict zero debates. Neither one of those turds' campaigns would want to throw their candidate out there for embarrassment.

Engorgeous George 2,126 Posted May 31, 2023 I believe that in Biden's mind he has already done so. In fact the last time he wondered around on a stage shaking hands with air, in his mind he was congratulating his debate opponent.

He's the FOCKING President. He can't follow basic instructions like a kindergartener. There is a LOT of hatred for Trump, we know that his opposers will stop at NOTHING. He's STILL having to go to court for things. Their hatred is STRONG. If he is elected it will be another 4 years of fake impeachments, trying to scrounge up shiiite on him. More wasted money.
