I last watched that on the plane out of China. The bandits' reaction to the gold was totally unexpected.

Well,  there's only ever been one bad Robert Duvall movie period so I'm gonna go with him.

At present, I think probably the finest working actor out there of the new generation is Jason gordon-levitt.

Past:  Henry Fonda over Bogart and Stewart.  This will become more difficult when Deniro and Duvall stop making movies and move into this category.

Present:  Norton barely over Denzell and Cheadle

I think that might have been the movie where he was trying to support his daughter-in-law. But that's a distant memory. As far as I'm concerned, Duvall's one bad movie was

rubbing is racing!

favorite actors of all-time are

Val Kilmer

Edward Norton

Ryan Reynolds

so I went past, somewhat past, present

good list.

after watching Val, i had a new respect for him.  found him pretty cheesy for most of his roles, but his training and devotion are very admirable. very hard to not like the guy now.

I'm glad Val Kilmer's career is coming back. Just saw that he's going to be in a remake live action of my little pony.

Which makes sense. Because for the last few years he's been a little horse.

its funny, if you just watch like Top Secret and Real Genius, you would have never expected him to become the actor he did, but I loved him then as well

Tombstone (obviously) and Felon are my two favorite roles he ever played

Jimmy Stewart and Bogart for past. I will never get tired of watching Casablanca, Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington,  or Rear Window.

Current: Ryan Gosling. Johnny Depp up until the last few years.

If it's odds I'd really like the movies they were in, then Jimmy Stewart and Tom Cruise.
