True, it would be a great development. I read stuff like this though: and think hmm, with the climate "crisis" as motivation, we ker-chunk along at a snail's pace, adding a few seconds each year to the sustained plasma. But 80 years ago, before computers, when we thought the Germans or Japanese might do it first and destroy us, we went from nothing to two functioning nuclear bomb technologies in less than two years. It's all about the motivation... or lack thereof.

Libs "yea the gun doesnt shoot itself but we have a mental health problem and a lot of bad people" Also Libs "we should make it easier for criminals to go back out on the streets" You cant have it both ways.

https://www.cnn.com/2024/04/01/climate/nuclear-fusion-record-korea-climate-intl/index.html Biggest story on the planet. 100 years from now, historians looking back will talk about this topic as they do Gutenberg’s printing press or the start of the Industrial Revolution. This energy will change all of our lives in profound ways we can’t even imagine at this moment. Virtually every problem we face now will be eliminated.

Ahhh ...the nuclear fusion breakthrough of the month. Nuclear fusion...the clean energy source that's been "25 years away" for the last 75 years. I'd love to see it, but it ain't happening in our lifetimes

tim's offer to end the bet was for others to concede that Biden is the nominee. If they didn't want to concede now, they can wait and pay when (and if) Biden is officially the nominee. EG twisted it all up and tried to claim victory now. That's not what tim offered. No focking way tim should pay EG unless Biden at some point is not the official Democrat nominee. EG should pay tim if/when Biden is officially the nominee. Tim is also dumb and annoying for trying to claim victory early, but EG is weasely trying to take victory now too.

Yep. They said this when he put tariffs in place when he was President and prices didn't rise as a result. They're the boy who cried wolf.

Close borders immediately and deport anyone who is here illegally no exceptions. Have a strict cap on how many immigrants we let in per year from carefully selected countries. 5,000-20,000 per year. No Islamic immigrants. I would also be fine with creating a temporary universal child income $2,000-5,000 per year per child until birthrates climb back to pre-1965 immigration act levels. As wages start to go up people will naturally have more children. You must understand English at a high school level to immigrate here. No refugees, no asylum seekers, it's someone else's problem. Country would be fixed within 2 decades.

Case in point How can it be a “hit piece” when it is literally Trump’s own platform. Are you saying he hasn’t said that repeatedly? You just blow it off as Trump talking crazy. Which may be true — but why would you want a president that’s known for just saying a bunch of random sh1t no one can put any stock in?

My cousin is a climate change alarmist. I asked him why the dinosaurs are extinct. He responded with an answer I'm perfectly willing to accept... that an asteroid hit the earth causing mass climate extremes (radiation among them), which lead to their extinction. After saying, yeah, that works for me and followed that up with "Did it take a million years or more for that to happen"? He had no response. https://www.nhm.ac.uk/discover/dinosaur-extinction.html#:~:text=Evidence suggests an asteroid impact, happened over millions of years.

Trump's own supporters know he lies all the time, so they just believe the things they want to believe and everything else is just "hyperbole"

In the beginning Good always overpowered the evils Of all man's sins... But in time The nations grew weak And our cities fell to slums While evil stood strong In the dusts of hell Lurked the blackest of hates For he whom they feared Awaited them... Now many many lifetimes later Lay destroyed, beaten, beaten down, Only the corpses of rebels Ashes of dreams And blood stained streets It has been written "Those who have the youth Have the future" So come now, children of the beast Be strong And Shout at the Devil Motley Crue 1983
