As a Minnesota resident, while you're imagining a grand conspiracy of oligarchs stealing from us because you're clearly so educated, we're actually observing people stealing from us in reality. Whatever sociology professor taught you to bend over backwards to turn a blind eye to being taken advantage of so you can feel soooo not racist and called it an education is the real grift at play here. What a fabulous weekend. Toofy is a five-star host, providing transportation as well as some killer barbecue for Arrowhead tailgating. With Jetdoc, TRF and myself being Texans fans, it was particularly sweet that they won last night, although that was an ugly game. The Chiefs are not good, and neither is the Texans' offense. On Saturday night, we went to an awesome German place, followed by a night of cheese Fleetwood Mac covers at some place called Knuckleheads, from which Toofy emerged with only a vague recollection of the evening. Hung out at a sports bar yesterday, watching NFL and college basketball games. I learned a lot about cold-weather games, and it wasn't really all that cold by comparison. I had on more layers than a Taco Bell burrito but still felt cold. Toofy provided these little hand and foot warmers I thought wouldn't do shat, but man they worked great. This was a quintesseential, classic Geek Meet, which we will no doubt do again. This is how the Silverbacks roll. Not doing it this week. I'm on vacation and didn't watch any games yesterday as I spent the entire day driving. Happy Thanksgiving everyone from the Smoky Mountains in western North Carolina.

They can’t figure out the actual source of their problems so they buy the story from the oligarchs, who love to turn us against each other based on something like religion or skin color. That has been true for centuries, and every generation produces enough idiots to keep the grift going so the wealthy can continue to exploit the masses. If every single person of Somalian descent left Minnesota, your problems wouldn’t go away. So which religious or racial group would you target next? Can’t even see that the oligarchs taught you to be racist so they could steal from you.

Ride the Lightning, And Justice for All, and Master of Puppets are all great albums. The black album is solid They have some solid songs scattered in the rest of their albums. One of their better songs is a cover from Garage Inc. Bread Fan. Despite them all being aholes, their best music is the best in metal history.

Do you live in Minnesota ? If the answer is no, don't tell me to get a grip. If you really want to know why myself and a substantial percentage of Minnesotans feel the way we do, educate yourself. If you won't do that, I'll be glad to educate you sometime early this week.

FU to the NFL officiating. Replay assist was supposed to ensure the correct call gets made. Instead, half the time it overturns perfecly good calls made on the field or lets obviously incorrect calls stand. I don't know how anyone could bet any significant amount of money on this game that is ripe for corruption.

What the hell. Music or bands with a prominent place in my life? What!?! Bro, if it ain't advancing my goals it doesn't hold a prominent place in my life. I listen to podcasts mostly and while I like a bunch of music, I almost never bother looking into who made it. But even if they die, people will always make more music, and don't most of these performers fall off anyway? And can't you just listen to their music anytime you want anyway? Weird that you guys feel attached to these people.
