Horseman = liar and jealous of my family.  I actually missed this post earlier.  It was worse than I thought, he didn’t even bring them up when talking to me, he brought them up to circle jerk about making fun of Sho

So someone who don't know is jealous of your family? Good one.

He might have to actually talk to his ugly kids he tends while his fat wife is a work.  Like a lot of the life loser libs here.  Some of the guys here take foster kids so they can live off the government and TDS all day online.  Some of these morons do it all weekend.

So what do you think Joe Bryant's move would be if he reopens the politics forum?

1.  just opens it as normal.
2.  establishes a "circle of trust" set of forum mods to curate every new post in the forum, and approve it before it goes live.
3.  people get a 1 hour cooldown after each post.

Those authoritarian idiots belive if only they use a heavy hand and eliminate all the bad apples and don't allow misinformation, they can have productive discussions.  What they will end up is even a bigger leftwing circle-jerk because the only people who stand up to those snarky holier-than-thou mob bullies will be gone.  I tell them what the issue is and all they do is ignore.  But I doubt they bring it back.

Year one was formed at FBG’s free for all forum between diaspora from when theHuddle imploded and our unwelcoming new hangout. FBG was a brand new site and the focking admins there were treating us like crap. redcashion, a poster there challenged us to a FF league. People thought it was a great idea… but crickets. I had an idea for how it should work

Year one was theHuddle vs FBG vs FFWarroom which was essentially theHuddle’s version of the Sanctuary.

“Circle of trust” like extreme snowflakes Maurile? We’ve seen how that works out. He employs a bunch of Libs that spend all day in there he has to cater too, I’m sure he’ll cave to them again once they hide from the reality of mid terms. Typical Libs.

Congratulations on the Iron Man League but that (like you) has nothing to do with the Interboard League. You would have been welcome to participate but didn't.

2001, the year theHuddle imploded, which coincided with FBG's first year of existence, was is the inaugural year of the IBL. The Huddle disapora refugees were being treated like crap at FBG because we had a sense of humor unlike the humanoids with sticks up their asses over at FBG who were just figuring out how to run a forum. They slammed us constantly with bans. I got banned for urging restraint on using the ban hammer after a top quality Huddle poster got banned for no reason (I think it was Cyric, I may be wrong). Maybe you followed me, they sure weren't shy about kicking people out. The admins at FBG were complete assholes in 2001 and from everything I hear, have toned it down only a little and remained so up through today.

redCashion from FBG came up with the idea to sort our differences in a FF league. The whole concept of how to organize such a thing sprang via different teammates drafting out of all the draft spots originated in my head. I came up with the idea, I was the commissioner, I paid the focking site fee in year one, and I taught my idea to the 35 other original members of the IBL. Meanwhile, you didn't even sign up.

The first year of IBL remains on the internet. Notice how you are NOT a member.

https://www98.myfantasyleague.com/2001/home/6368

Sadly, it doesn't remain fully intact. The 2001 website got hacked up because it wasn't saved as it was, but instead used as a base for setting up the 2002 season. So FFToday got added and players were assigned to the teams they play for in 2002 rather than 2001. Like Bill Schroeder, on my roster, listed a a Lion. He was a Packer in 2001.

Here are the three 2001 feeder drafts that merged into the league:

https://www98.myfantasyleague.com/2001/home/3173

https://www98.myfantasyleague.com/2001/home/3569

Also it was JetDoc, not you, that contacted us and wanted to take the IBL over here.  That's why my member since date here is March 2002 https://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/profile/11413-voltaire/ I signed up at Fftoday to help him set up FFToday's teamand the stuck around because theHuddle imploded, FBG focking sucked and FFToday was far closer to what theHuddle had been than FBG was.  You can see how JetDoc was on the 2002 FFToday team, he was the FFT Captain that year.

Yes. However many teams participaite, that's how many copies of a player there are available. So if you miss out on a player in your draft, you can get him in another. If somebody is sliding in a draft you aren't a member of, you can trade in and snag him.

Ok, yeah, I participated in that one year when I used to post in the FantasyGuru message board.  I bailed early though.  One of the guys was telling me about the league, so I figured that I'd try it.  I was in my draft and I had the 6th pick.  I saw the order and said, 'ok, I'll come back in 2 hours and check'.  I went back and 1 guy had the first 4 picks.  Apparently he made trades in his other drafts and acquired 3 of the other top 4 picks.  I was like, screw this, and I bailed.

Sounds fishy, it takes a helluva a lot of draft capitol to trade into the top of the draft once let alone three+1 times, We had rules in place to prevent teams from building frankenstein monster teams by exploiting their teammates but that's not what would have happened here, those picks would have all come from rival teams.

I was told that all of the records were cumulative, and if a guy was just using one draft to stock another it wouldn't help him.  So if a guy had one league where he was 10-0 in one league but 0-10 in another, he'd be 10-10 overall.  But, when I saw what was going on with that guy, I was like... yeah, that's not what's happening here.  This guy had the 1st, 3rd, 4th, & 6th picks.  These guys were basically making one-for-one deals.

So, he had pick #1 in our draft.  He went to the guy who had the #2 pick and offered him pick #3 & #22 in one draft for pick #2 and #23 in our.  He did the same thing with other picks.  So, yeah in the other 3 drafts he didn't have a first, but he had 2nd's.  He still had 3 of the top 28 picks.  So he had 1 stud draft and 3 really strong ones.  It was just way too intense for me to keep track of what was going on.  Especially since all the drafts had erratic time starts.  My first draft started 3 days before my second draft.  Way too convoluted.

I'm with Voltaire; I play in IBL (it still exists) and have played there for around 13 years I think.  I don't see how this scenario could play out.  You'd basically have to offer a 2nd, 3rd, and a third pick (probably 6th) to get a 1st, 4th, and late round pick, for the value to align.  That gets you two first rounders, two 4ths, a 5th, then 7th on.  I can't even imagine what you could offer starting with a 4th as the highest compensation to get another 1st, let alone a 4th 1st rounder after that.

The rules are quite restrictive for value matching for trades within a board, so you would have to do something like I described to collude within a board.  I suppose theoretically the same person could play for 4 different boards and try whackadoodle trades to accomplish it, but it would have been sniffed out rather easily when somebody was trading a 1st rounder for a 12th rounder.  :dunno:

People have certainly done that first described trade to get two first rounders.  Nothing more than that tho.

Yeah, it was back in 2005, and I'm not sure what things were going on and how he accomplished it, I just know that the guy ended up with the first 4 picks and got LT, Tiki, Alexander, and Torry Holt.  I probably screwed crap up, but when I saw that, I just left.  I never made a pick because I figured the whole thing was a rig job.

Hats off to Joe for saving his followers from the reality they would have to face tonight. I feel for all Libs out there, tonight is the beginning of the end.

If you have family or friends that are snowflakes, be there for them. It’s not easy to face the reality that you have been fooled by the Lib media for this long and wasted years of your life foaming at the mouth.

I was hoping he might open it for just tonight. Would have been epic.

Joe (she/her/clown/clown-self) would likely do all the above plus force all users to list how they voted in the mid terms in their profile.
