SUXBNME 1,594 Posted September 14, 2012 The focker has never seen Braveheart, The Patriot nor Boondock Saints. 3 Crassic movies, right? Personally, I blame MDC for turning him on to murder death kill torture movies a few months ago. As GFIAFP would say FLEADOMMMMM
5-Points 3,766 Posted September 14, 2012 Thumbs up for all three! Also, "State of Grace" is a good flick. Old but good. Irish mob stuff...
naomi 360 Posted September 14, 2012 None of those are potential snuff, so I second the rec
IGotWorms 4,063 Posted September 14, 2012 I would not say the The Patriot is a classic movie. It was OK but not great. That said, he definitely has to see Braveheart and Boondock Saints, if only so he knows what people are talking about when they reference those movies. kutulu 1,703 Posted September 14, 2012 I saw them. Braveheart was awesome and a must see. I wouldn't even recommend the other two. I mostly agree with you. Braveheart is really good, but for me not good enough for a second viewing...I'm pretty picky though. The Patriot I have caught parts of and it never really peaked my interest...maybe I should give it a shot...most likely never will. Boondock Saints is decent, but it def. is not as good as the hype/love some people give it, IMO.

Boondock Saints is decent, but it def. is not as good as the hype/love some people give it, IMO. Braveheart is an all around great movie. Good drama, action, and acting. The Patriot was a pretty good civil war/action flick. Kind of cheesy in a lot of parts but good. Boondock I wasn't really a fan of. I saw it a few years after everyone else and my friends forced me to watch it. Not sure if it was just too built up or what but I didn't seem to like it nearly as much as the rest of them. I did run into a girl who had never seen Pulp Fiction the other day and spent about 5 minutes calling her all kinds of retarded until doing the math and figuring out she was 7 when it came out. Man did that make me feel old .

cbfalcon 827 Posted September 14, 2012 Never saw any of them. Braveheart - too long to watch, The Patriot - I only became interested in Heath Ledger after A Knights Tale Boondock - Didn't even know about it for several years

If I run across braveheart channeling surfing, I will take a look to see if any of my favorite scenes are coming up. There are plenty of them that I like to watch over. Any scene with Longshanks are worth another look, especially the one where he throws his son's gay lover out the window. The battle scenes are way awesome too. I thought the Patriot was kind of sappy and predictable. I grw up in Boston, so should have liked boondock saints but I thought the acting kind of suxed...I think it may have wanted to be a Tarantino type film...but without the great acting, great lines and style..it failed. Phillip: I am skilled in the arts of war and military tactics, Sire. Longshanks: Are you? Then tell me, what advice would you offer on the present situation? Actually, this is one of the TV shows you told me about it a couple years back. I focking love it. I really need to get caught up on this fantastic show. You turned me onto Alias too, as well as Millennium. Both were great and Millennium was outstanding.

jerryskids 7,085 Posted September 16, 2012 I rarely watch movies yet I've seen Braveheart 928374 times. It is on cable all of the time; I know GoColts doesn't have cable, but how can the rest of you retreads have never seen it? Patriot was good. I'd watch it again if I caught it on, but probably wouldn't go out of my way. Never seen Boondock Saints.
