I don't think people give enough credit to those who wrote the Constitution.  I fully do believe they felt that there would be advancements far beyond what they had.  Why?  Because any group of people who come together and create an f'ing nation, aren't morons who live in the moment.

Sure, there were advancements in the gun technology over the course of the last 200+ years... the first machine gun was made in the 1880's and the first Tommy gun was made in the 1920's, so it's not like it happened 10 years ago.

As I said, there's nothing wrong with the Amendment.  In fact, in the current state of the Left, that Amendment is even more important than ever.

Since the Dems own the media, they pretty much idolize and lionize all of their leaders no matter how terrible they really are.  Not saying Ginsburg is terrible, but she didn't deserve a movie either.  But, that's what they do to influence the masses.
